Top product
De originele ssd kan nu worden gebruikt als data schijf.Het enige minpuntje: de usb-aansluiting is de niet stabiele usb-mini 3. Het contact is stabiel, ik hoop dat dat zo blijft.

Great with an exception..
I had a 2015 MacBook Pro crash on me and mine is the style you can pull out the memory card. So I bought this to plug that memory card from my crashed computer into my new computer, but it would not work it just kept loading. I read a bunch of forums and found out I needed a separate power hub to plug this product into and then the hub gets plugged into the new computer. The extra power from the hub was able to download everything within a few minutes whereas before, it just wouldn’t work. I got the hub from Best Buy for $10.

OWC sells replacement drives that are supposed to be direct replacements for the stock Macbook drives. Unfortunately it turns out there are still compatibility issues and Apple (or for that matter any of the independent shops I went to) will not service Macbooks that have the OWC drives. So I thought, "no problem, I'll just put the original Mac drive back in and use the OWC enclosure that came with my drive to use it as an external drive. Then I find out that the version of the enclosure I had would support Mac drives (as advertised) but not OWC's own drives (not disclosed anywhere in their info but I found on some boards). Then I see that OWC has updated their enclosure to be able to support their own drives. Hooked it all up, and sure enough it was able to read the external drive. Then it started getting warm. Then hot. Then my Macbook no longer recognized the external drive, and still doesn't, even after cooling down. No idea if the OWC enclosure went bad or the OWC drive in it went bad. Either way, I'm not spending another penny on their products ever.
