Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love these brushes. They hold water. I've been using for watercolor and so far pretty good. No hairs falling out.

It took a while to get the glue out of the bristles initially, but once you do, these are good brushes. They hold a nice amount of paint, and help you apply it the way you want.

The media could not be loaded. I have yet to put these fully to the test, but so far I'm impressed. I think they will last a long time. Holds a lot of water/paint. They don't feel cheap, but they were very affordable. Nice selection of sizes, from an extremely large 12 to a small 1. I don't spend money on expensive brushes anymore, but these feel to be of similar quality as my Silver Black Velvets. They are taklon, not animal hair, which can be a plus for animal lovers who don't want to use animal products. I do not know what type of "glue" they use to keep the points stiff during shipping, so I don't know if they are truly vegan or not, but I am pleased with my purchase. We shall see how they hold up over time and if they shed or not while painting.

I have never owned better brushes. They're super easy to use and do an amazing job!Pros: They hold a ton of water, so now you know. they are easy to clean, make sure to save the brush back in their plastic case, otherwise they will lose their shape.Every time you use it, clean it, and back in the plastic case, thank me laterThe only con I found is that they come with a lot of glue from the factory to maintain their shape, so the first cleaning process can be long, but rinsing with hot water a couple of times from your sink will do the jobI will buy again for sure, recommended.

I did not expect the quality of these brushes are so good since their price is quite low. I did not give much hope at all. But to my surprise, they are very good. They hold a hot of water, and hold their shapes nicely. I did not notice any hair shed after multiple uses. I like them more than my Princeton Neptune brushes, but they are much cheaper.

I'm a watercolorist, and have used nearly every manner of watercolor brushes.The value of these brushes far outweighs what you purchase them for. The quality of the brushes are fantastic. You can tell that these brushes were handmade and expertly wire bound. I experienced no hair loss at all during the unboxing. The water capacity of each brush is exceptional. The softness of the bristles who was also surprising to me. I have never owned a watercolor brush made with Taklon, but I would absolutely purchase this set all over again!
