I use mine to inflate my Motorbike tyres (37 and 42 psi) and rarely need to recharge it, so I would imagine it would not have any problem doing four tyres up to 30 psi on one charge. I'd put money on it being able to do that at least twice if not three times over.

Q: Is this suitable for suvs ? the extra weight of them generally prevents compressors from working.

This is actually a good question. Being a Ryobi tool I would expect it would be able to, cheaper models should also be able to although they will probably be slower. Anyone who thinks the weight of a vehicle has nothing to do with tyre inflation is clearly a fool or has never inflated the same tyre on and off the same vehicle!...... (the tyre inflates much faster off a vehicle or if the car is jacked up slightly)

No need to thread it on, if you look inside the pump nozzle it's pretty clear. Just push it on, then after a small hiss of escaping gas depress the lever. Use the power button to choose your preferred\desired pressure scale, as indicated by the lit panel & blow! Sorry inflate, really handy & portable.( Takes all the pressure off you while you put the pressure on)
