You need to use extra care when handling parts that are meant to bend
I have built many of these wooden models and the common problem that I find is that the parts that are meant to bend such as engine covers are very fragile. They break easily and are difficult, if not impossible, to repair. Some kits have extra parts because of this problem but they can still be a problem. It says in the instructions, not to wet the wood but I think that dampening these parts may just prevent these failures. I broke the top engine cover on this particular model and I am looking at trying to repair it with some balsa sheet. Having said all that, it is a very good model and I am looking forward to my next project.

Excellent.
My hubby recently had surgery and we knew he was going to be off work for at least 4 weeks. He would have been climbing the walls. Got him this to keep him occupied and he loved it, it’s really good quality, easy to assemble, the grandchildren helped a little, the design is really clever and it was actually really good value. I’ve since bought a few different ones and he’s hooked.

TL:DR: easy to follow instructions, seems like a lot of fun, really good quality. I assume all was there as packaging seemed neat and organisedUnfortunately, my dog got to my jeep before I did and managed to destroy most of it in a few bites, although I did happen to see the box afterwards and in my home’s security footage it was well packed and presented well, what remained of the inside was a very clear set of instructions that seemed easy enough to follow, the actual wooden pieces I managed to salvage a few and found that the bits come away easier than I anticipated and was quite impressed with the pieces that where left. I don’t know if the springs where apart of the package but if so I imagine it made the jeep rock to simulate shock absorption and suspension. Will have to order another!

Very clever
Very fiddly but very clever. Parts are cut to an amazing degree of accuracy. They even include spares for the fragile bits.
