How long do the batteries last please?

Not sure, but I think it's something like just over 100 hours. DAB radios are more thirsty.For comparison, I've also got a Roberts DAB which takes SIX rechargeable C batteries (the chunky ones) and I'm lucky if they last an hour. With non-rechargeable it's probably closer to several hours.

What size is this radio please?

Approx 7" - 18cm - about like a fat, narrow paperback.

Does it have an option to plug it in the wall?

no, it just requires 2 aa batteries

Does the radio suffer from a lot of static?

I'm not sure it is 'static', but I certainly spend a lot of time turning it this way and that way to keep it 'on station' - which is Radio 4 FMI live in coastal a South Wales: maybe the signal is just poor !When it is in exactly the right position, it is just fine.Hope that's of some use.
