Endgame IEM sub $400, must buy!
TLDR: If you are buying an IEM and don't want to spend $400+ buy these on sale now. I have them with Dunnu S+S tips and sound absolutely amazing for music and games. I literally get chills listening to some songs, my main desktop headphones are Beyerdynamic DT1990, and these sound as good if not better.I have had a collection of Headphones and IEMs and you can quickly go down the Audiophile rabbit hole. I started with basic gaming headphones years ago and they were just OK. When I made the jump to HD 560s they were a massive improvement, then I went to the HD 660s and they were even better. I even tried the HD880s when they were on sale and ordered the DT 1990s. While the HD880s were pure endgame, I couldn't justify the cost and comparing them to the DT 1990s they were good but not an extra $700-$1000 better. If you are looking for great desktop headphones DT 1990s with Dekoni Elite pads are going to be your best bet up to the HD880s or spending more than $1000.Now for IEMs, my first journey here were basic Sony and Klipsch earbuds which were just OK. I moved up to Sennheiser ie200 on sale and they were are big improvement, but with reported QC issues and drivers failing months in I returned those. After extensive research and watching Zeos and Fresh reviews I settled on the AFUL Performer 5, and the bass, details, clarity, soundstage and immersion are absolutely fantastic. I have the Mangird Tea pros on their way to see how these stack up, but around the $200-$400 price point you run into diminishing returns on IEM performance to cost.Packaging is top notch and the feel of the AFUL Performer IEM for me fits like a glove. They are super comfortable and I could easily wears these for hours. The cable is good quality as well, might want to upgrade that in the future. When I have these plugged into my desktop they run through a CB AE-9 and they sound amazing. I also use them on my iPhone 16 pro via the Apple usb-C adapter and they even sound great that way at just over 50% volume. Don't walk but run to get these for your IEMs, especially with the Black Friday sale of them under $200.

One of the best choices for a sub $200 IEM
- This IEM is terrific.- My audio stuff for reference:- Fiio K5 Pro DAC/amp- DT 1990 Pro- DT 990 Pro- DT 700 Pro- Kiwi Ears Orchesta Lite- Kiwi Ears Quartet- Raptgo Hook X HBBI am not a producer or mixer and I just dabble in the audiophile space. I mostly play PC games, watch movies, shows, and listen to music via Tidal. So take my opinion with a grain of salt.Bass:- The bass is really good. It's accurate and textured. Has good sub bass extension. Does not bleed into the mids/vocals. 8/10 bass imo.Mids:- The mids are good. Clear and slightly forward. Very easy to discern between male and female vocals.Treble:- Treble is nice and not overly sibilant for me. It has good energy and detail. Ok sound stage. You're not going to get open back levels of sound stage out of an IEM anyways but these hold their own.- Imaging is spot on. I play BF2042 and I can easily pinpoint foot steps and enemies around corners and walls. Vertical imaging is also spot on which is something IEM's tend to have a difficult time with. These are fantastic for imaging.- The comfort on these are top notch. The IEM themselves are perfectly sized for me. They are lightweight. The nozzle size gives me no issues at all. The nozzle has a slight lip at the end which helps with keeping the ear tips on when removing the IEM from your ear. I've swapped my ear tips out for the Spinfit W1's and holy moley do those make the bass sound phenomenal. I recently purchased and tried the JVC dot ear tips. Those are comfortable and increase the clarity, mids, and treble a bit but tones down the bass just a hair.- The included cable is really nice. It's weaved and braided feeling. Doesn't suffer from cable memory like some do. Easily curls up and straightens back out without getting deformed. Great cable.All-in-all, I feel that this is the best IEM you can purchase for the price point.- The traveling case that comes with it is...meh. Nothing fancy but it works.

Amazing and clear bass and treble
UnimpressiveFor 200 usd and for all the hype I saw about this product I was expecting so much more. The only one thing that I would give this iem, is that it has a very powerful and detailed bass so if you are looking for very good bass, then this may be a viable option. Myself I don't care that much for it, and that's the problem because for me, the bass was literally the only good thing about this. There is no detail in the sound, all the instruments voices merge together, you are unable to identify them individually, the mids are too low for my liking and the treble is a bit better but not quite there. But definitely the lack of dynamics and detail on this iem is a complete deal breaker, if you listed to instrument-rich music this is not for you.Update, ive been using this iem for a couple of months now and I have to admit the grew on me, after getting used to them and comparing it to other iems, there is a lot of clarity and definition on bass and treble, much better than ive heard in other iems. This gives the songs a lot of oomph. Learned to enjoy percussions and guitar solos with this iem and for heavy bass music like electronic, this will rock you. I still stand by the fact that these are not very dynamic or play along with several layers of voices and instruments, you are better of with a planar for that matter, but other than that, these are great
