Any idea why this can costs half as much as th e one with the different label?

Maybe it is from a different supplier, that can sometimes make a huge difference in other products I have purchased on Amazon. Also, make sure it is the Chicken a la King and not Swanson dumplings or other named soup.

How many cans do get for the $17.77?

I got a case (12 cans). The prices vary so if you like these it pays to keep check on them....I've paid from $16--$21. at different times. My family loves them. Hope this helps.

For long term storage is it better to freeze dry this or leave it in the can?

Leave it in the can, of course inspect for dents, bloating, corrosion at the seams. If there's no apparent can damage, you can keep this stored in a dry cool low or no sun light area for a very long time, as with any long-term food item if it doesn't look right smell right or taste right, get rid of it...

Is this available with just White meat?

An Easy Way to Add Flavor

We use this broth over and over again. It's my soup base and my go to for some stir fry's. Low in salt and not heavily seasoned with herbs like bone broth, it's perfect for a "light touch" of chicken flavor for gravy and roux. Recommended whenever you don't have time to boil a chicken!

terrible flavorless SWANSON organic chicken soup

I enjoyed a strong flavor of SWANSON Natural for several months, it is great, but once I noticed the Organic version I enjoyed the idea of the same flavor BUT this was not true-all organics terrible.

Many damaged cans

The product itself is fine. However, many of the cans were so damaged they could not be used. A small dent with no leakage is okay, but a heavily damaged can explodes when opened. This happened with mine. So I was left with less than a full case of broth.

Arrives safely

I did nt have to load them into a grocery cart, load it on the counter and un load it again at home. Swanson is my favorite. I prefer it's taste. And I don't bother with the low salt etc. My preference.
