Buyer beware - does NOT fit an HD-07 hair dryer!
Their ad said it fit my hair dryer (HD-07) but it did not fit. It wouldn't close. I was so disappointed. Why have that model listed if it is too small to close?

For HD07. It fits!
It fits. I have an HD07, and this part has been unavailable for months. Dyson sent me the wrong part, and they have no idea when the right part will be available, if ever.I have been looking for months, while my hair dryer has been unprotected. This one works.A part that finally fits! That’s all I care about.

OK fit
Some finesse is required to get the unit to completely fit into the upper housing without damaging the small foil portion that inserts into the top of the slot area. So be careful when you are trying to fit it as a hard push can damage the thin top.

Broke after a few months of use. Kept slipping off.

My filter broke so it needed to be replaced. This works but it constantly untwist and needs to be placed back into position.
