Honestly I’m not sure this is the quick release system so I would assume so. Having only the fitting it came with.

Q: Where can i get the carbon brushes for this motor? As the foredom ones are a different size

I haven't had to replace the carbon brushes yet, however I have had a look on line and the place I would contact would be "Cooksongold" Heimerle+Merle Group, telephone number 03451001122. The product code for the carbon brushes is,999FD14, they have some in stock at £11.99 inc VAT. I don't know if this will help but it could be worth giving them a call.

Q: Can you use collets with this hand piece (i suspect not). in which case, is there a hand piece i could get that fits this and uses collets? thanks.

It has a chuck with key, you do not need collets as it will accommodate most size drill bits or polishing mops that you would probably need however im sure you could get an attachment if you wanted
