Q: Where on the game gear does these cables plug into?

This cable is only for Nintendo consoles. The brand is called "gam3gear" , it will not plug into a game gear system.

Q: Is there any kind of adapter that can be bought if your hdtv does not have a s-video spot?

Best option is to find another tv if its an hdtv to make sure it has s video if not just get a crt cuz most crts during the late 90s and early 2000s as most of them have s video and generally speaking all games look better on a crt tv anyways as all those games where made with crt televisions

Q: Is this compatible with a female connector port such as Tendak?

I believe that works the opposite of what you may think. A Tendak device converts newer HDMI devices to an older RCA output. This will not work if you're attempting to convert RCA to HDMI.

Q: Will this work on the japanese super famicom? i dont recall if the rear connector is universal.

Yes it will work on Japanese Super Famicom but your TV has to get the S-video input
