Love this..... Just be wary when you first turn it on its set to max volume and I had to quickly mute it. But once past this it's great. My old surround system which was 20 years old was now broken so I just needed something not to expensive until I got a new surround system. My TV speakers are too tiny and so I needed something that didn't sound tinny and would handle games and movies at a higher volume.This ticks all the boxes. It is very simple to connect. Mine is connected to my smart TV via an optical cable. All I had to do was plug it in and it's working. When you turn it on or off it beeps. The beep is alittle loud but you get use to it.The sound is crisp and strong. No tinniness to the sound. It handles action movie sounds extremely well. No buzzing. It's clarity is brilliant.It has a nice jet black colour and feels well made. The part I love is the little display in the front in the centre. A white Led display that shows the volume levels. It flashes if it's on mute.Overall for the price it's well worth it.

I cannot see how people could complain with an item of this capacity, affordable, powerful for its size and all round easily accessible. Only reason it’s not a five star review is because there’s a very annoying “beep” noise upon starting and reaching max volume- which I deem unnecessary. I think we’ll figure out it’s at the maximum volume without the loud noise. It looks quite modern and honestly pretty good for its price. The clarity is honestly surprising and I’m no musician to comment on things like bass and tempo, but it does quite well music wise for me aswell. Another negative however is that this product does NOT come with an aux cable, annoying in my opinion as it was the way for me to connect to my screen. Nonetheless it was a small mistake but I feel as if including an aux cable would go a long way. The feel of the actual speaker is hefty and sturdy, does not creak at edges nor feel cheap. The remote is arguable “too” sharp on it edges but that’s not really important, just a design opinion to make it dull edged. Overall it’s a great product for what it is and arguably a perfect product for things like gaming with a monitor as you’d be close to the speaker so wouldnt have an issue with noise level. And for anyone saying it’s not that powerful. Admittedly it’s not the loudest speaker ever but for the price. Can you complain? In my experience the speaker was heard downstairs all the way from my room, given that it wasn’t very loud when heard from downstairs, I still think that’s proof that the sound is not at all poor. Some of the reviews make me question if people are lying or if I just got lucky with my product and them not so much. Again I would recommend.

I am so happy with this soundbar. I had already ordered two from Amazon and had to return because the written descriptions did not match the spec in the manuals. I neerded a soundbar for my TV and whichever soundbar I had, needed to have Bluetooth due to wanting to put the soundbar behind me.This one arrived and I was quite prepared/resigned to having to return it but it has surpassed my expectations. It is a great size, being neither too small nor too big. I bought the 110 version and It was incredibly easy to set up the Bluetooth on the TV and when in useThe bluetooth connects flawlessly which I cannot say for others I have tried, which had a tendancy to drop out when turned off. I switch the TV and the soundbar on at the same time and a prompt flashes up on my TV to ask if I want to connect to the soundbar. I accept....job done! It has a seperate remote control which I find really useful as it enables me to fllick through the various sound modes. Because my hearing is not the best and I am worried about having the TV too loud, I use the Bluetooth and place the soundbar behind my head (I have a table behind the sofa) and it is perfect. The sound is also clearer than the TV, so I don't miss parts of the narrative,nor do I need the subtitles any longer. I realise that the 'purists' would not use it this way but it works for me.I am surprised how clear and loud (variable) this is with a great bass on it. The volume can be far louder than I would ever have it set at. Would I recommend? You bet!

Can’t mount to wall or unit. The speaker has fixings to wall mount but the power cable and audio connections cannot fit behind the speaker when wall mounted.Otherwise good speaker and good sound for the cost.

I bought this Groov-e Sounder for use with our kitchen TV and for it's size and price, I am pleasantly surprised by both the build and sound quality.It fits neatly below our TV and using the supplied optical cable gives a massive improvement in audio. The remote works from any position in the room and gives a number of options for EQ - Voice, Music, Movie - as well as volume, input selection and track control.The bass is absolutely fine and there's no audio distortion at high volumes. We prefer the Movie mode and find it's perfect adequate for all our viewing. When the soundbar is turned off, it retains your settings when turned back on. The instructions are clear and well written.Bluetooth: Connected immediately with my iPhone with playback slightly volume is lower than the TV but easily rectified by turning the volume up a couple of notches.Lastly, the only hiccup was that initially it would not play TV audio from FreeView HD channels (the rest were fine). The solution is to go to your TV Audio settings and change the audio output from Dolby to PMA. Solved. Some people say "...it won't work with my TV..." and the Groov-e really should add this solution to their instructions in my opinion.I can happily recommend - providing expectations are managed. In a large room for gaming and movies it may not have the grunt that you want - in which case spend more money. Otherwise, this is fantastic value for a better than expected improvement on TV-only audio.
