in the one room in my apartment, the ac unit they have is way to big for the room so the moisture in that room in always crazy since getting this haven’t had moisture in the room. Added plus is it’s a night light with the changing colors

Bought to help with a mildew issue on my a/c blower. Works wonderfully. Got rid of my issue and runs perfectly. I only have to dump it out every couple of days depending on the humidity level. It’s nice and quiet. I enjoy the color changing lights. Haven’t had any issues after a few months of usage. Ended up buying a second one for the bedroom. Very simple to use and came with an easy to follow guide.

Bought this as replacement for another brand that died after a year. (Turns out it was just a bad cord) - which leads me to why i give this 4 stars, the plug does get warm/hot and instructions say not to run for more than 24 hrs. My other brand had a larger plug that did not get hot and i literally left it run for days. I think this is performing the same - it is pulling moisture out of the air - just wish plug didn’t get so hot.

TL:DR Don't buyI let this run 4 hours in a 100 sq ft room with the door closed on 5.6. I compared temp and humidity with my living room with the window cracked open. After four hours there was no change in humidity in the bedroom, while the living room dropped 1%. The temp stayed the same. I got 2.5 tablespoons of water at 70% humidity.My hygrometer does not due tenths.Today, 5.7, I gave it an 8 hour run, at the same temp, humidity levels. I got twice the water and it didn't change the humidity 1%. As I was unplugging it, I felt a lot of heat in the plug. Took about 30 seconds to get my laser temp gun and the plug was 93°. The only other time I felt a plug that hit was using my portable induction stove on sear to boil a giant pot of water for about 20 minutes.It will make the 2nd time in4 years I will have returned something.Recommend trying another unit.

I don't usually review products, but I really liked this dehumidifier. It helped me a lot during the cold season, since the heat inside and the cold outside create a lot of humidity. Before buying it, my walls got damp, and I was worried about mold, but now I just turn it on and it takes care of removing all that moisture. It managed to collect at least 2 ounces. Ideal whether you have children or not. It's not very noisy, and it lets you sleep. My suggestion is that you buy it. I give it 5 stars.

Works for our bathroom since the apartment doesn't have great ventilation. We had a mold issue related to the steam not being able to be vented out. This is a great quiet product to absorb the humidity. The bathroom doesn't seem stuffy anymore and it seems to work pretty quickly.

We purchased for our fifth wheel campers bedroom (less than 100sqft) but found it to be completely unusable. We were having humidity spikes to around 70% in the small 8x8 room, after 2 days of use it made maybe a half a cup of water and lowered humidity by 3% to a balmy 67%We then stepped up to a normal size dehumidifier and it actually works and now we can sleep without it feeling like the amazon rain forest. We still have it running in central part of the unit but it barely makes water.My advice if you’re having any type of humidity issues is to purchase a small apartment size dehumidifier and not this table top junk.
