NU-X 6ixty 5ive Overdrive - Nice Medium Gain
This is a very nice, full sounding, medium gain pedal; very happy with my puchase. I have two other NU-X pedals, and was confident that this would not dissapoint. This works perfectly for what I was seeking; a mild-moderate overdrive, that lets the guitars character shine through. It doesn't add too much gain, and has good EQ control, thanks to the treble and bass controls. I have tried (and sold) several OD pedals that have a single tone control and suffered from poor EQ control. The resultant sound and gain depends on a number of factors (guitar pickups, amp type, amp settings) so your expectations might vary. I adjusted the saturation trim pot counterclockwise to its maximum setting, but actually returned it to it's moderate factory setting. The factory setting was ideal for my requirement of a moderate OD with good EQ control (I have other pedals to provide higher gain settings).

Great sounding pedal
I bought this to replace my TC electronic Combo Deluxe '65 pedal. Really good old Chicago blues overdriven sound if you back off the treble on the tone knob.Plenty of reviews on YouTube...

This is a Tube Screamer with Bass and Treble Controls
This is basically a Tube Screamer pedal but it is more difficult to control. Yes it's probably a very good clone of a very expensive pedal called a Jan Ray by VEMURAM and Nux admit that it is. However that doesn't make it a good pedal by default. This pedal has too much Gain to sound like Fender Blackface Amps. Anything past 12 o clock with Gain or Level is too much. You have to use it in conjunction with an Amp or similar Amp in a Box solution, but using the Level Control past 12 it has huge compression and distortion. The pedal lacks subtlety and doesn't work well with the Amps own controls. It does however have a nice bass sound but it's overpowering. Yes it pushes the amp but not in a subtle way. It's very aggressive. I found that any decent Tube Screamer or TS clone does a much better job of pushing the amps. This allows you to have more control with your Amp controls. I tried various ways to like it but in the end couldn't justify having it because combinations of Amp and Tube Screamer always felt better. If you are looking for Fender Tones I recommend Joyo's 'Clean Glass' or the 'American Sound' pedals.

Great pedal
Great classic blues tone’s from this great little pedal EQ also,IMO It’s a bit of one trick pony I need something with a bit more scope in the overdrive dept but nonetheless I did get some nice very smooth vintage bluesy tonesI returned the pedal after much pondering but I’d still recommend this pedal for the bluesy tone.

Amazing
What a lovely little pedal! I don't have other overdrives to compare them but I always used digital effects. The sound is warm and I can play what I wanted to play

Absolutely top drawer, love it.
Fantastic pedal, offering clarity but a rich harmonic overdrive above 12 o’clock on the gain dial. It’s a fantastic always on pedal to give a clean channel a fantastic dynamic voicing. Pairs excellently with boost pedals and other overdrives. Really delighted with it.
