Q: This came up as tickle me elmo 2018. is there a difference? i saw tickle me elmo with same packaging for $14.99 why is amazon's $32.89?

Many of the original Tickle Me Elmo's are collectors items now. The Elmo that is made now in 2018 is a newer version and some people don't like it because they remember growing up with the original Tickle Me Elmo. The original Elmo is harder to find, therefore the price is higher. Hope this helps.

Elmo is so MUCH FUN!!!

Came fast, my granddaughter loved this gift for Xmas, she’s 6 months old. It’s hard for her to push the stomach however when you do it for her Elmo just laughs and laughs and laughs. Enjoy!

Too cute

Elmo was a big hit! My granddaughter loved it. She didn't know what to think when he first started laughing but soon was laughing along with him.

Still a huge hit, even tho smaller than original

I bought this for a great niece. My adult kids all had the original version. This one is smaller and doesn’t make all the same comments. His laugh is the same. Tickle me Elmo is still a kid fave!

Retro but still gift-able!

My nephew is 14 months, just getting into Sesame Street and LOVES his new Elmo. Great gift!

Still exciting to little ones who like Elmo...

My 1st granddaughter (age 10 months when she got this) loves it when I move her stuffed Sesame Street friends around- making them walk, dance & talk. So we thought she’d get a kick out of one that moved, talked & laughed on its own & she did! Her reaction=priceless.

Low quality Elmo - NOT giftable!

Elmo arrived in an Amazon bag which resulted in the Elmo box being damaged. Elmo, himself, doesn’t appear damaged. However, he’s a little dusty and smells like he’s been stored in an old warehouse. Definitely not a giftable Elmo! This reflects poorly on the seller.The actual Elmo is made by Hasbro and is of low quality. It is NOT soft or cuddly. Hard plastic is felt under the torso. There are very few sayings and it is difficult for an adult to get them to play, not sure if a child could. Or maybe this one did get damaged in shipping. Also Elmo is more of an Orangish Red than the traditional Red he is known for. Overall, I’m Very disappointed. Hasbro definitely dropped the ball on Elmo’s quality.I obviously could not gift this and will be returning it.
