So-so window fan. Misleading to fraud listing! Since you must click for sellers, Amazon staff likely compiled the listing. It isn't 9" blade. 9" ONLY IF YOU COUNT THE CENTER PIECE. Actual blade is 6". IT DOESN'T Have "ELECTRONICALLY REVERSABLE MOTORS". I was surprised the box says "Manually reversible". In all my years, I Never encountered a "reversible fan" that meant you can reverse the entire fan! Of course! You can do that with ANY house FAN EVER MADE! This listing is FRAUD.

can one fan blow out and the other in?

The fan has three modes, and desite what other reviewers erroneously posted A) ond of the three modes is Exchange, where one fan draws outside air in while the other fans expells room air out, So yes one can blow out and the other in B) you do not need to know how to use the remote control to change modes. There are buttons on the fan with which you can control fan speed and mode.

Will this fan fit a 24 inch wide window?

no. the fan is almost 25" wide.

Can this fan be used in slider windows?

Yes, this heater can be used in slider / casement windows. In this case the fan will be vertical, and bottom accordion will mostly likely be closed, and the top accordion will be extended to seal off the opening.
