Such a beautiful dark plum colour, which fades to a deep red/burgundy. The colour is most vibrant for about 2-3 weeks. It left my hair feeling really soft and was so easy to use!! This is my go to hair dye and has been for years and years. Live XL has always been a great hair dye for me, I’ve used several shades however amethyst chrome is the best colour I’ve tried when it comes to purple hair colour. I usually buy these in home bargains as they are cheaper in there but sometimes they can be out of stock so when I saw these on here for the same price as home bargains I just had to grab a box. I am looking forward to redoing my hair. I find a box does my hair fine and mines rather long and below my shoulders. I dye my hair once a month with this brand which isn’t too bad for the price and the colour. I have stuck with this shade for around 4 years now and it’s by far my favourite colour. Highly recommend!! Best purple I’ve tried! 💜

So thought I’d write a review as usually hair dyes never come out the way they should do on me, so after using the live ultra violet which didn’t work at all, I had bright pink red roots and black ends I used a colour remover to remove it and start again, I had used semi permanent dye and my hair was starting to look a bit blah, so tried this as I wanted a proper purple and even though it’s really dark as dyes usually end up darker on me anyway but I’m happy with the colour and will look lovely once faded, looks much better than how my hair looked before!

died my hair like a month ago and it’s still very black

First time dying, so used on virgin undyed brown hair (see before and after images) and it turned out really well. Used the whole bottle and left on for just over 30 minutes.Super easy to apply and did not stain skin at all, nice floral smell, and comes with a good conditoner sachet. Colour is very vibrant in direct sunlight, and more midnight blue indoors.Would suggest leaving the conditoner in for at least 5 minutes and avoid washing (even with water) for the first 2-3 days to maintain as much colour as possible as some does wash out (hence 4 staes). My hair is super brittle and thin, so long conditioning was a must for me.

Best hair dye with a beautiful ref undertone. Used to buy in shopping centres but amazon offers this for a great price. Thank you!

I'm very impressed. I bought Amythyst Chrome, my base was a very light bleached blonde and the results are BEAUTIFUL (see pic). 10/10 colour, I'll be sticking with this dye from now on!

this hair dye is quite good. it’s very good coverage and doesn’t fade or wash out quickly. i died my hair 3 weeks ago from light blonde, to this, hoping it would be a dark blue.. however, it just stays black. i don’t recommend if you want your hair literally dark blue. but it’s a good alternative for if you want a very dark, black colour! it looks slightly blue in the light though, i will give them that. it’s easy to apply though, instructions are clear.
