Q: My electric fireplace manual says to fill the fibreglass bin with "clean coal" to create a realistic "fuel effect". Will your product be suitable?

Yes, but the 7lb bag will probably not be suitable for you as it does not have as many large pieces in it as my 25lb boxes do. What I'm assuming your manual is referring to when it mentions "clean coal" is large pieces of Hard Anthracite coal that you can stack up as a "display" within your electric fireplace for looks only. That is why I recommend that you get my 25lb box as large pieces will look better than small pieces. You will not be able to use all of the coal in the 25lb box, nor would you want to. As it would be best if you just select the most "displayable" pieces out of the 25lb case of coal and then wash them off under the sink and then just place them in your electric fireplace if you choose.
