The cordless hair trimmer is okay, only use it for trimming around the ears made a mistake, thinking it was rechargeable but works on batteries

Terrible quality, battery sounds like its failing from first use. Can't see how Wahl would allow this crap to bear their name so I think its a rip-off. My suggestion to anyone buying this is to complain to Amazon as soon as they receive it. Chances are you get a full refund and keep the item, although you probably never use it again.

I was in two minds whether to send this back as I was under the impression that it was a hair trimmer, & not a beard trimer, as it says on the box! It cuts the sides of my hair with ease, but it's almost impossible to cut the top and back bits with this! Although Wahl has a good name, the blades are just too small for a proper haircut. Because of it's size, I might keep it for travel purposes, however! Battery-operated!

Does it do beards

Pulls hair out rather than cuts it! Can be quite painful.Motor speed fluctuates massively depending on how you hold it. Speeds up if you turn it up side down or squeeze it, if you hold it upright gently it slows right down and wont cut! Very cheaply and poorly made. Seems the joins are loose!Guard is so flimsy when pulling the lever to take the guard off it is bent, pretty soon the lever is going to snap and i wont be able to put the guard on and off.I had the old £15 silver battery operated Wahl beard trimmer and it lasted 15 years perfect, (until I dropped it and it smashed.)This one not worth the £7/£10.
