Many errors in Spanish
I regret that we did not play this soon after it arrived so I could have returned it. My granddaughter and I got it out today to play and in five minutes had found five errors in Spanish. 1) The picture of a soccer ball is labeled "el fútbol" which in Spanish means "the game of soccer" not the ball used to play the game with. That word is "el balón" or "la pelota". 2) The image of the cello is labeled "el violoncello" with a double "ll". That is the spelling in Italian or in older English, but in Spanish it is "violoncelo" or "violonchelo". 3) The image of a smiling and very alive fish is labeled "el pescado" but should be "el pez". "Pescado" refers to fish that are no longer alive and intended for consumption, a bit like labeling a sheep, "mutton". 4) The word for rainbow should be "el arcoíris", written as one word, but this game has it as "el arco iris", a bit like spelling "rainbow" as "rain bow". 5) The picture of an old fashioned alarm clock is labeled "la campana" which means "bell", not alarm, nor clock. This image should have been labeled "el reloj", "el despertador" or "el reloj despertador". If you are expecting a bingo game to use correct spelling, then do not purchase this variant. I suspect that the entire game was designed and printed in a non Spanish-speaking country with no input from a native speaker.

Love it!
I purchased these as the alternative version of the original loteria for age appropriateness. The original has the borracho and others that I don't want my child exposed to yet. This version is great, it not only teaches my child spanish, but also helps him with his phonetics as reading beginner. 100% recommend!!
