This has solved my trigger thumb pain that was waking me up during the night! It keeps my thumb straight so it doesn’t get stuck (which is when the pain occurs). It’s small and comfortable and it doesn’t bother me when I sleep.I have tried those braces that go around your hand and thumb to keep your thumb straight and that is unnecessary and uncomfortable. This small brace works perfect!! And there are 5 in the pack for about $10!

I sprained my thumb and it was very painful to use or if it got bumped. This protects the injured thumb from bumps and holds it straight. It also eliminates the pain during the day. I use it during the day whole I work on the computer, without an Issue. It is a bit bulky but I don't mind that. The metal in the top of the brace is what secures the thumb in place. The velcro straps are easily adjustable and very secure. I have been washing these in a garment bag. Sometimes I still have to take it off to do things, like cooking n the kitchen. My thumb hurts when I leave these all day though due to not moving it at all so I take it off to sleep. I will still have to go to the doctor at some point to get a medical grade split to heal my two month old injury. I saved one to give to my mother since she often injuries her finger working on the farm. I am extremely thankful for this splint.

Does a decent job of stabilizing but it's just not very sturdy. Works but could be better.

These have been a life saver as I work through trigger thumb. They have helped prevent my thumb from locking accidentally. Fully adjustable and nice looking. There is a metal spine inside that keeps them from bending. Don't get them wet or dirty unless you want to replace them frequently. I wear a glove to do dishes for example. I would definitely buy these again and would even say they are good to keep in a well stocked first aid kit.

If works well. If you are cooking or washing dishes … put a rubber glove on over it .

This little thumb brace is making living with trigger thumb possible at the moment until I figure out how this can be healed I truly wouldn't be able to function right now without this brace. I was delighted to find several in the box; I thought I was paying for just one!With this brace, my thumb does not bend and lock painfully, needing me to unclick it. (OUCH!) This week, I bought large dishwashing gloves that fit over the brace, so that I do not have to take it off to wash dishes. Larger hand braces, which can be great for stabilizing the basal thumb joint (CMC joint) and that, in some cases, also protect the trigger thumb, are so bulky, cumbersome to take off and put on, and make wearing gloves in the cold winter here impossible. I can wear winter gloves with the brace on.I am very grateful for this little product that makes a big difference in my life right now.Now to find my path to healing this thumb!
