I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of these bricks. They come in a wide variety of classic colors. There are red, blue, black, white, green, gray, yellow, brick pieces. This is a great set for fundamental base blocks, and they are consistent and compatible with the name brand Lego.

Same feeling!So, in today's world where you can plug your kid in and have them watch 3,000 hours of educational TV why would you worry about building blocks? Oh.... they're important. Very important. I have a large board with the base tiles (for roads, etc) on it and I put that on our art table and then let the kids go to town.
