I installed this underneath my standing desk to provide outlets for all of the many items that need power at my desk. The volume of outlets, spacing of them, and orientation of the plugs are very efficient. Would definitely but this again!

My wife wanted a power strip in her closet to plug various chargers into. This worked perfect.The cord was VERY long (15 feet), which was too long for our application. But that's ok, we just wound up the excess and stuffed it behind a cabinet.High quality outlet strip in an aluminum housing. Well suited for shop use.

Revew of "oviitech 12 Outlets Metal Power Strip,Mountable Heavy Duty Power Strip with 6FT Cord..."This is the silver-colored aluminum (ASIN B0B4W5TPH9) with 12 black plastic outlets and black plastic caps on both ends and a black power cord.Great quality. Grippy plugs hold my heaviest "wall-wart" power supplies. Mine is suspended by both ends but doesn't flex when plugging things in. No sharp edges and nothing rattling inside. The power switch clicks on of off and the bottom glows red in use. It's fairly thick aluminum, not cheap sheet metal.I don't think there is any surge protector which is good, since it's connected to my UPS. There may be overcurrent protection.Approximate dimensions--the length of the aluminum strip with the black plastic endcaps but without the cord is 33 1/2". The distance between the endcap screw and the leftmost socket ground hole* is approximately 3" since that side has the power swtich. Then it's 2 1/2" between each ground hole and finally 2 1/2" to the final end cap. 3" + (12 x 2 1/2") only equals 33" so like I said, approximate.If you need to mount this in something wider, thin aluminum bar can be hand-filed with two bevels to fit in the channel in the back. I bought a Hillman #122375 12" Picture Hanging System "french cleat" because the metal was the perfect width once I flattened the cleats slightly with flat-nose pliers.* If you see a surprised face when you look at an empty electrical outlet, the ground hole is the mouth.

I have to say that the 24 plug outlet is great, excellent quality. Made to last. Hooked it up behind my TV and able to connect many electronics to it, TV, surround sound system, TV headsets, cable, and othersInstead of having several different plug extension cords, you have just one and many extra outlets.My opinion, buy this product 5 Stars *****

I mounted it with the included hardware at the back of my desktop surface. Easy peasy. It replaced 3 power strips that were cluttering my desk and office space and occupying all the wall outlets. I like the way the receptacles are spaced out to accommodate those ubiquitous power transformer blocks. It's exactly what I needed.As a bonus it doubles as a backstop so my stuff doesn't keep getting knocked off the back of my desk, never to be seen again. You cat owners know what I am talking about.

Works as expected!

I love this so much I came back for a second one. This is perfection for under my work desk. It allows me to easily plug in everything I have, without worrying about lack of space. I bought a cord management "sling" for under my desk and this fits inside perfectly. I can't speak to the longevity or its surge protection just yet, but I'm hopeful this will last a very long time. This came well packaged and beautifully crafted - does not feel cheap - worth the price!
