I can’t speak to the longevity of these as I haven’t had them that long yet, but so far I love these. While I’m not a professional chef, I do love cooking and value high performing tools and equipment. After researching a lot of different brands, I went with Mercer. These have the perfect weight and balance to them. Some western knives tend to be a little too heavy, whereas these feel just right — heavy enough to feel strong and high quality, but light enough that they are easy to control and manoeuvre. They are sharp and have a comfortable handle. On top of that, they are at a great price point and beautiful to look at. The stand is such a gorgeous focal point on my kitchen counter. So far, very impressed!

This really is a very impressive Knife SetStunning to look at and will grace any kitchen with minimal space taken up because of its slim design.The knives look and feel of exceptional quality light in the hand but beautiful safe grip and they feel every penny of their premium price.As a result of being so impressed by this set I will save my pennies and buy some more Mercer knives (carving set etc) and I highly doubt given the superb quality that I will ever need to buy another knife set again.Only note of caution as this is not an angled knife block I would advise not to place under a cupboard as there is not adequate clearance to pull knives out.This is not a criticism just a common sense observation from a safety perspective.I highly recommend this beautiful knife set and as ever superb service from Amazon.STUNNING!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bought as a present for my partner in his new home, something I knew he would love but would never splash out on himself. Having researched decent knives so I'd be getting something worthwhile, these appeared multiple times and seemed to have positive reviews.I am extremely impressed by the quality of these knives, and the glass case looks perfect displayed in the kitchen and is regularly commented on by guests. It is also extremely easy to clean which was a particular concern of mine. And as a final bonus, my partner was absolutely thrilled and loves using them (more home cooked meals for me!)Would recommend 100%.

I've had the knives for over 6 months and they're a significant upgrade from the £30-£50 type knife sets I've purchased in the past. They're sturdily built and feel comfortable to hold. It's an all-round great set of knives for a decent price

Quality item. Good weight and balance. Attractive display, easy to see which knife you are selecting, plus easy to clean. Knives are very sharp and precise.

Nice looking knives and stand hence why I bought them in the first place but the problem with them is that don’t seem to stay sharp at all. Have sharpened them so many times already but they seem to blunt so quickly am not a knife expert but surely a good knife should stay sharp a bit longer? Although on the market you can find much more expensive knife sets I would say that for £150 you would expect them to stay sharp for at least more than two uses? Bit disappointed hence the two stars.
