is this lipstick matt?

No it's not matte as such but not glossy either- just 'normal'!

This is probably a stupid question, but is it the same colour as the nyx mauve lip liner?

Hi, I don't know as I don't have the lip pencil. But it is a nice shade for people of colour.

I've just purchased this thinking it's going to be a light cream/nude colour, has anyone else purchased it the celene one?

i purchased Power(it is same as discontinued MAC Lavander colours). Nyx is identical in colour, very creamy.it vanishes a bit faster then MAC , BUT IT PLUMPS your lips! i have tiny lips and Nyx lippie' just moisturises them. It is creamy and shiny (which really doesnt fit me/small lips like matt//but this plumps lips and i add a bit of powder on top. IF YOU WANT to see the shade you're asking for, try you tube reviews and compare swatch/images on google. Nyx lipstick is a great value for money.
