Farmed emus - not vegan friendly obviously
☑️ As described and as advertised.☑️ Well packaged and well presented.☑️ Good usage instructions, ingredients and other key information.☑️ Absorbs well and non greasy.Farmed emus but not sure how peta and cruelty free as involves culling emus but they are being farmed so same as eating beef!

Absorbs quickly into scalp, noticed improved hair quality
I've been using this every other day, I massage a bit into my temples and leave overnight. It's a heavy oil, but very compatible with skin, I find that it absorbs very well into the scalp. It doesn't feel like it clogs my skin either.Over a few weeks, I have noticed that my hair feels marginally thicker and stronger. It looks shinier and feels softer too.The own downside is that the bottle is not easy to use, when I try to pump some oil out, it never comes out right due to the poor design.

Unethical
It's a bit of joke that this product displays a cruelty free logo, which I think mainly refers to animal testing. The emus are killed for this, and I note the info says nothing about what other parts are used. It's great that they are free range, but harvesting them solely for this is not very sustainable, as the rest is possibly wasted. And there are plant products that are just as good, so it's also unnecessary.Quality wise, it might well be great, but I can't condone how it's produced. And I am sceptical about the claims, too. Why is this the “most penetrative”?This is an oil, so if you want to hydrate your skin, you need to apply something else first. It locks in moisture, but does not provide it.I did not realise what this was when I ordered it. I assumed it was just a brand name..This is a Vine Voice review, but that has not changed my opinion and I only review items I would buy. I try to use or test all products, or if I can't, I at least check them.My rating system:5 stars – great: as described, high quality4 stars – good but has minor problems3 stars – has significant issues2 stars – bad: not as described or does not function or not useful for intended purpose, but has redeeming features1 star – terrible: not as described or does not work or dangerous to use, no redeeming features

nice product
Ive had people rave about emu oil and am aware it can be used for lots of purposes so was keen to try this as I have very dry / irritated skin on my face and arms. This oil is really nice in that it has no smell and it absorbs really well - it does not leave the skin feeling sticky or greasy.Early days yet as Ive only been using it a week or so - but Im sure Im already noticing some improvement and certainly not having any negative reaction to it.Price wise - seems quite expensive but emu oil products always are... if this does help my skin the price really wont be an issue because I really stress about my skin.So far - so good - this is a really nice product

Did not know such a product existed. It seems promising!
I selected this emu oil for skin and hair as I am trying to combat hair loss by oiling my hair before washing it. I was quite skeptical about this oil and how it would be but it pleasantly turned out to have no scent which was really nice for me. I can apply it on my hair and scalp before washing it and then wash it out. The oil also has omega 3, 6 and 9 and vitamins A, D E F and K2 so it is great for your health in my opinion.I will probably have to use it for a longer time to be able to see long term effects of if there are any changes to my hair fall etc, but for now, I am enjoying this oil. I have also applied it on my cuticles and have seen some improvement in my cuticle skin and nails, though, so I do feel like it is working!I do think it is quite expensive for a 30ml oil to be £17.99 at full price, but we are talking about emu oil which is apparently extracted from emu's so it makes sense. People who really want to use products with emu oil in it will indeed purchase it.

The oil is nice but, perhaps not it's source!
In a moment of madness, I requested this oil when it came up on the Vine programme - I had for some reason, heard of it's many benefits and was looking forward to trying it. However, 1 day later it dawned on me that 'Emu' oil came from these amazing birds and, it seems that the only reason the poor birds are destroyed is to extract the oil from their backs for cosmetic purposes. If this upsets you (and it did me), please don't read on.I did use the oil and immediately noticed what great quality oil this is. If you look on line the oil promises amazing benefits for hair, skin and nails. It is a lovely texture, sinks in beautifully, does not seem to be greasy. It's not cheap at £17.99 for 30 ml. Unfortunately, now I am aware of what goes into extracting this oil, I will not request or even buy it again. 3* because for those who don't mind, it is nice oil.

Emo oil
This review is for Emu Oil for Skin & Hair - Scalp, Nails, Hair, Face and Body Oil Infused with Omega 3, 6, 9, Vitamins, & Minerals - 30mL Unscented Body & Face Serum for Fine Lines, Stretch Marks, Dry Lips & CuticlesI received this to review as part of the Amazon vine program. This is emu oil, I find it good for my skin. A little goes a long way and I find that it absorbs quickly, and does not leave my skin feeling in any way sticky. I think the price is justifiable given what this actually is. I have sensitive skin and have not reacted to this at all. It leaves my skin feeling soft and supple. I am happy with this and would be happy to recommend it.
