1791's lady Women's Victorian Rococo Dress Inspiration Maiden Costume

This dress fit wonderfully on me for a friends birthday party. It’s stretchy but has great detail and lace, the price was spot on for my budget for the party. I’m now reusing it for ren fest because I adore it so much.

First dress in this was too tight in a large. I ordered an extra large and was sent a 3xl. I notified the company and they fixed it in a hurry. The extra large was a just right. I wear a large in original clothing but had to go up 1 size. This dress is made nicely and the only thing I didn't like was the inside material around your shoulders, back, waist and chest. It's a heavy material that made me sweat and not allow my skin to breathe so it stuck to me. I had to wear a tankini underneath. That's the only negative thing about this gown. I had sooo many wonderful comments about the gown and questions about where I got it from and who made it. Everyone loved my gown.I told them I got it off of Amazon and it just made it to my doorstep the day before my event! I'd order from this company again if I had to!

Decent quality for a costume. Absolutely needs to have a hoop petticoat underneath to give the proper effect. Fit was pretty accurate to size.

I bought this for my daughter as a matching dress for her American Girl Elizabeth doll. She’s about 4’6” and I ordered an XS. I still had to take up the skirt 12 inches, even with a 3 bone hoop under it. I totally expected to have to hem it some - just be prepared for the length and order a hoop skirt. I did a few other quick alterations to make it fit a little better, because it was too big (which I knew when I ordered it). The fabric doesn’t stretch much at all and there is just one zipper under one arm so I was hesitant to make the waist too fitted because it was becoming hard to get it on and off.Overall, this was way easier than making this dress from scratch and she is thrilled with her dress.

Sizes way off runs really small

I git this thinking I could wear it to a lineage society event but not convinced yet. For the price I paid, it’s great but I wish it were just a little heavier. I ordered a large and it fit ok. Looks cute on, but I’m not sure how it will hold up to even just an occasional wearing.

I bought this costume dress for my 12 year old granddaughter for Halloween, I can only say that she Loved Loved, Loved it! Loved it so much that she even wore it to church 😄. Very well made.

My boyfriend and I love to go to the Renaissance Fair on Pirates week so he can be the bad guy (redcoat) and I wanted a dress that matched his area! Let me say this dress is STUNNING and I got compliments the entire time at the Fair! Exactly like the photo except not at much lace on the front chest which I put pearl buttons to compensate. I wore a petticoat and panniers to get the full puffiness! Highly recommended!!
