No way of knowing if they send you expired rolls
THEY DO NOT PROVIDE A BATCH CODE OR EXPIRATION DATE. Appears to be legitimate portra but I do not know if it’s expired

Highly sus.
why send me rolls without manufacturer packaging? maybe they are hiding something? no way to tell if this is expired or not or to know how long until it expires. No way to know what film is actually inside the canister, could be forgery, who knows. The price isnt really much of a deal despite taking all these risks. I will shoot the rolls and if i feel like the film is not portra 400 i will return the exposed and developed film I guess. Shipping me rolls of film that are not in the manufacturer packaging is highly sus

Classic look
Portra is one of those standard films that everyone should use often. It has great colors and a fantastic overall look. Pricier than some other films, but you get what you pay for.

Great film stock and value.
It has been a few years since I've shot Portra so I was excited to see it in stock. It loads easy and I'm just waiting on the first roll to be developed. I shoot on a Canon Rebel X and a Canon Sureshot.

Legit Kodak, Legit Portra
I was very pleasantly surprised when I received these, as I half expected it to be repackaged Fuji or some other brand, but it seems to be authentic Kodak, and accurate to the 400 ISO that it specified. I can't verify any specific expiration date, so hence the 4/5 star review, but having finally received my scans from the lab, they look great. The colors pop with that signature Kodak flare. Warm yellows, smooth browns, black blacks. I visited California for Christmas with my fiance and we took my old Pentax K1000 out for a spin with one roll, and she put the other roll in her Minolta 400si and got some various building and agriculture photography. Both rolls turned out great. Portra has always, and will always be expensive, but performance wise, it's hard to get any better. If you want to up your game from Gold and Ultra Max, this is the next step. Great film.
