Q: Does it come with the edge guide?

I purchased the OF 1400Q-Plus USA; it came with an edge guide. There might be other versions which might or might not have a edge guide; I don't know. Be sure to check the item specifications for the configuration you are buying.

Q: Dose it include 493566 adapter for leigh D4R PRO E7 bush?

Festool 1400 does not include any adapter for other tools. Ask Leight for any adapter that will work with Festool.

Q: For those who have owned other routers (like Bosch), is this router significantly better at dust collection? I mean really, really better?

Not really better than other routers unless you want to spend lots of time in the setup. I own, Craftsman, Porter Cable and Bosch. I never consider dust collection when buying a router. If I have to really collect the dust, I have an assistant hold a high CFM vacuum hose near the router. I generally work in a standalone garage/workshop and use an industrial vac to pick up the dust and chips. Then I use an air cannon to blow stuff out of the workshop.

1 Electric motor HP = 746 watts. So 1400 divided by 746 = 1.877 HP or just a bit over 1 3/4 HP
