Top notch audio quality
Top notch quality. Audioquest has the best cables for AV. I can hear the difference compared to my previous cable, the adapter is a nice addition for me because my TV (A95L) doesn't have an optical audio port. Very flexible and fits as no one.

STOP! Read thru before using
Excellent product. These Toslink cables are very skinny or small in diameter compared to RCA, XLR or other cables you have used in the past. AudioQuest is very proud of their products and you will discover that when you try to buy one of any length greatet than a meter (3 feet).MOST IMPORTANT NOTE!! Make sure you remove the little plastic cap covers on each end of cable before inserting into the optical output jack on your preamp, amp or other source. Also the connectors are keyed so pay attention to how it plugs in. My connection points for instance have the flat part of connector facing down; yours might be different. As far as sound? My system sounds great! Is that a result of this cable? Don't know, but I have never had an issue with AudioQuest products. Peace of mind never comes cheap!

I bought the cable to see if it would improve the audio of my AV system. It did. Audio Quest cables are guaranteed for life.

Makes a difference!
I took a gamble and purchased this, not knowing if it would truly make an audible difference. I wanted to replace my older Monster optical cable and get the best sound possible from my 2017 Vizio 5.1 sound bar system and my AppleTV. My Samsung TV does not support HDMI Arc. My Monster cable would fall out too easily and didn't seem to have a solid connection. I'd had it for years. This AudioQuest cable definitely had a solid grip on the optical ports. I have to say I could notice a difference. It sounded fuller/wider with slightly more bass. I can tell it made a difference because I had to turn down my subwoofer one notch. This cable is quite short so I recommend measuring before ordering. Fortunately, the ports for my TV and sound bar are both on the same side. I've recently purchased Audioquest Golden Gate cables for my turntable as well. I've definitely determined that higher end cables do have an effect on improving sound quality.

Good cable, doesn’t look like the picture
The silver cable is the optical cable I was using. It worked great but when I saw the Cinnamon on sale, it was hard to say no to. The ends are great, they lock in well, I had no problem routing them in the car, but as noted above, they don’t have the braided outer jacket. It makes me question their authenticity. They do look like the Forest cable, so they may be, but they are definitely not the newest version and that should be made clear in the product description.

If you wanna hear a difference in audio quality from your OEM cable upgrade to AudioQuest Cinnamon for a kick in the pants!!!
All I can say is Wow! I know there is better high end cables than the Cinnamon series and maybe cheaper. But with that said the this cable significantly improved the fidelity of my headphone and home theater sound. I went from your baseline monster toslink to the AudioQuest Cinnamon. In my personal experience I always notice a huge difference when upgrading an optical audio cable more so than coaxial or hdmi. Don't get me wrong use the best you can afford for your level of equipment. It's just that the little tiny thin as heck digital optical cable that either comes with equipment or is the cheap cable readily available is so bad. It's been around since the 90's or earlier. This is the first time I went up to the cinnamon line for my digital optical cable...usually went with the forest. I wanted the nicer braided cable this time. Well worth every penny. If I had some higher end equipment I would have gone to the vodka or diamond series but $300 headphones sound amazing as is. Sorry for the long winded review. Cheers

Audio Quest is the Best
I love that these interconnects have a sturdy connector that does not pull out of the speakers or crossover very easily. Sound quality is only as good as your equipment.

Flimsy little thing
See photo. The flimsy chord is the Audioquest. The thicker one is the SKW, which costs a quarter of the price. To my ears, no difference between the 2.To my eyes, I'm having a hard time believing that something this thin does a better job at carrying a signal. However, a little research will tell you is that all that matters is that the light (data) reaches its destination and that size is irrelevant.
