It still works and sounds great except for the speakers popping whenever the volume is ...
I purchased the XP510i 500 watt unit several years ago. I've used it without any problems, for back yard BBQs, family reunions, high school reunions, ranch parties, etc.. It still works and sounds great except for the speakers popping whenever the volume is high and the bass set too low. But it was like that since brand new. I just needed to adjust the volume high and low frequencies accordingly.I purchased the XP1000 1000 watt system not because of the Bluetooth capability (I'm already using the Samson Bluetooth adapter for the XP510i) but on a hope that the 1000 watt system would produce a lower bass without any distortion. So far so good. When I get a chance I want to connect the XP510i to the XP1000 via the Monitor Out to see what kind of sound I get. Maybe set the XP510i to handle the highs and the XP1000 to handle the lows.Oh, by the way, watch out how you handle this system. With the amplifier box placed in it's speaker compartment, the knobs are outside. When transporting, they can be easily damaged. But like I said, I have used it without any problems, for back yard BBQs, family reunions, high school reunions, outdoor ranch parties, etc., and I even dropped it from about 4 feet once. Must have fallen just right because when I set it up, plugged it in - it worked just fine. This baby gets used and has traveled a lot. Like anything else, treat it right and it will last you a long time.If I could add anything to the already great system, it would be a cover for the knobs (for protection during transportation) and a remote control.

Good Buy
Already have the Samson 600 watt and wanted some more kick. Bought this for portability, can't beat the size and design. Wish I could get a bit more bass from these speakers. But this handles all places I DJ well

Very easy to use
We bought this for school concerts and assemblies. Very easy to use, and great sound quality. Love the number of inputs, we could hook up two wired mics, one wireless mic, and several other devices all at the same time. Very happy with this system.

great speakers for the money
great speakers for the money, love em. Don't like the fan noise though at low volume. Wish they had a work around for that issue
