Quality at a good price.
I'm 5' 10" and 195-ish pounds with slightly broader-than-average shoulders. My torso is also just a bit on the short side for my height. The Large fit perfectly for me. Specific notes:Quality - seems well-made. All of the seams looked good and tight with threads tied off effectively. The zipper also feels robust compared to other similarly-priced hoodies out there. Seems like it will last for a long time.Comfort - the sherpa interior feels great and provides plenty of warmth. It is only in the torso area and does not extend into the arms, which is a good thing. The slicker material in the arms makes putting it on over shirts much easier. I've worn it while sitting on my truck bed for an hour in windy conditions in the low 40s with just a t-shirt under it and felt comfortable with little wind getting through the material, and it's kept me warm without strong winds down into the low-mid 30s without layering.Fit - as with most Carhartt stuff, it fits a bit bigger. For a hoodie I didn't want something form fitting since the added pocket of air can help with warmth. It's not huge and doesn't feel like it's eating me, but it's not a slim fit by any means.Mobility - I felt like I have plenty of mobility on this thing. My arms never feel restricted as they can with heavier coats. I'm able to articulate at the elbows and the shoulders very easily. Shouldn't get in the way if you're doing work in it.Layering - at my size there is enough room in the hoodie that I could add 1 layer under the hoodie (besides just a t-shirt). I wouldn't try to layer this hoodie under anything though. It's too large for that in my mind. Many hoodies in this price range are just OK. This one feels a cut above the rest, and I think for the price you'll be pleased. Would highly recommend.

BEST ON THE MARKET....WELL MADE, THICK, WARM & ROOMY!!!!
My husband works construction 10 hours a day outside in Chicago. He Loves these especially in the winter. He now has 5 of them. He couldn't stop talking about the 1st one I bought him...now All of the guys on his crew wear them too.He Loves how roomy they are, he can move in them & he doesn't feel restricted & Loves how warm they are, even the hood is lined with Sherpa. He also says the zipper is very strong & goes way up when he puts the hood on & doesn't scratch his neck & chin, which is important when your working in Chicago "The Windy City". It is also water repellent (Not waterproof) keeps dry in light snow & light rain.SIZING:They are made with a Fuller cut & are a little big when you 1st get them BUT they do shrink just a little after washing them & drying them in the dryer, so if you are 1/2 size, order 1 size up. EXAMPLE: (if a L size shirt is tight on you, order this in XL) especially if you maybe wearing a thermal T Shirt & flannel shirt underneath it.These Hoodies are well made & are the very Best on the market...especially if you work outside or just want a hoodie that stands up to the wind & cold (Chicago) weather....worth every penny!!!BEST POINTS ABOUT THIS CARHARTT HOODY:. Relaxed fit. 10.5-ounce, 50 percent cotton/50 percent polyester blend with rain defender durable water repellent. Sherpa lined. Attached, sherpa-lined extended hood for extra warmth. Full-length antique nickel zipper with storm flap

Warmth and Comfort
My husband loves this jacket. It has a soft, wool-like fabric on the inside that provides tons of warmth. The outside is similar to the usual cotton material of most hoodies. Jacket is true to size. It has exterior pockets as well as a "hidden" pocket on the inside of one side. It has some water-proofing to keep you dry during light rain. Overall, this jacket/hoodie was an amazing deal and well worth more than I paid. I will be purchasing another.

Good quality warm jacket
I definitely like this jacket, it is overall nice and warm, but in my opinion it misses the mark on two things. I am not a fan of the sateen material used on the inside of the sleeves. It is smooth and cold to the touch and because I don't generally wear long sleeve shirts, when I just grab the jacket to go out my arms feel that cold material and brrrrrr.... Then outside I constantly feel like my arms are cold as I move even thought it is otherwise a very warm jacket. The other miss is the double pocket on the right side. The smaller pocket seems useless and I constantly snag my fingers inside the small pocket when trying to get my cold hand into the larger regular pocket. Otherwise it seems very durable, the body of the jacket is a thick warm material and uses a good quality zipper. I will definitely keep this jacket but in cold weather I'll need to put on a long sleeve shirt before putting it on to go out
