The Prop 65 warning is likely due to the soils in which the cane is grown. Very common for plants to pull heavy metals from soils. Buying organic is not a guarantee against metals. Advice: always have a detox plan for heavy metals. Foods grown in India and China are especially problematic.

Q: Does this item need to be stored in the fridge ?

No it does not. It's quite viscous in the cooler months. In summer it flows very well. I keep it on my kitchen table. It will soon be cool again so putting in the fridge will make it flow extra slowly. Hope this helps.

Sounds like a item wrongfully advertised. One, Org. Blackstrap Molasses does not cost &81.95 for a 15 oz. Bottle, A case of Organic Blackstrap Molasses might though.
