I FOUND IT TO BE FIRM AND SUPPORTIVE IN THE MAIN BUT WITH A LOVELY SNUGGLY SOFTNESS IN THE PILLOWTOP. AFTER ACQUIRING AN EARLY MORNING BACKACHE FROM TRIALLING A RETURNED DORMEO MEMORY FOAM MATTRESS, THIS WAS A REVELATION. NO EARLY MORNING DISCOMFORT AND NO OVERHEATING. IT REALLY IS ONE OF OR THE MOST COMFORTABLE MATTRESS I HAVE EVER SLEPT ON.BE ADVISED, HOWEVER, THAT THIS IS ONE MONSTER OF A MATTRESS WITH A DEPTH OF 38CMS (15") AND IT IS VERY, VERY HEAVY! THE SUPER KING WILL BE EVEN HEAVIER! I LOVE IT AND LOOK FORWARD TO SLEEPING ON IT EVERY NIGHT, WHETHER ON MY BACK, FRONT OR SIDE. I HAVE NO ISSUES WITH IT AT ALL AND, INCIDENTALLY, I SAVED £235 PAYING £634 ON AMAZON, ALTHOUGH IT WAS SENT AFTER A 4 WEEK WAIT, DIRECTLY FROM SILENTNIGHT WHOSE ONLINE PRICE WAS £869! HAPPY DAYS!

Purchased at a very good sale price. 5 stars for value for money at the sale price. It arrived rolled and whilst quite heavy I did mange to manoeuvre it by myself. I unrolled and placed in position and left for about 4 hours, after which it had expanded enough to be used, the corners take longer to reach full expansion. There was no smell. It is slightly smaller than the king size base I have, but not hugely.3 stars for pain relief as I can not verify as didn’t have pain.Comfort is excellent for me, initially you think it is going to be soft but it is surprisingly supportive. So far so good for a great nights sleep

So I manage to buy this on a flash sale on amazon. For the price I paid it is pretty good. It is slightly more firmer than my old memory foam mattress. I don’t notice a big difference with the cooling layer but then again I haven’t tried other mattresses. Only downside is that it becomes soft at night and I then have to turn to the other side to have that slightly firmer and cooler feel. I don’t know if that happened to all memory foam mattresses but it did happen to my old one too. But for the price I paid it’s a good mattress. Chemical smell went after 3-4 days properly. 1st day I did not sleep on it because of the smell.

I haven't purchased a new bed for more years than I care to mention, as I suffer with chronic back pain Arthritis so it was definitely a case of better the devil you know, despite the fact that I don't sleep in comfort and dread going to bed. So after reading reviews and product specifications for several years we took the plunge and I am so glad we did, I am a lot more comfortable and feel like I have slept pretty well, so extremely pleased with this purchase. However I did contact Silent Night's customer service with a question, I received the standard automated reply, but no one ever bothered to reply to my question. So GOOD bed but POOR customer service!

It's disappointingly thin, but is quite comfortable. It is very "squeaky" when you move or turn over and I can honestly say I've never before had any mattress that makes a noise! We did at least get it at half price, which is the only consolation. It's the first and last time I will buy one without looking at it first

Was a bit apprehensive at first as I loved our 7zone silent night mattress but after taking the plunge and buying this mattress I wasn't disappointed!. It's comfortable and it really doesn't hold the heat like my previous memory foam mattress. My partner no longer feels like he's sleeping on the base of the bed (our previous mattress was 7 years old) .I would definitely recommend this !

I bought this bed in December. Unfortunately with the warmer weather, I’ve found that I am now overheating on this mattress- so much so that it is waking me up as I’m sweating so much despite using just a duvet cover as cover. Doesn’t seem to have the cooling effect it mentions. I’m over my three month trial which means I can’t return it now. Disappointed.

Excellent mattress, very comfortable, very good value for the price. Has already helped my back ache.Nothing like a good mattress for a good nights sleep.
