This is either the 6th or 7th flexible silicone garden hose we've bought. They are fantastic things. So much easier to use than a traditional hose. When not in use (running water) they are really flexible and easy to tuck away or fold up. When in use, the hose swells with the pressure but is still very flexible.However. Be aware. These hoses last about 1 year max in our experience. Hence having bought so many. Amazon are great of course, they always refund me when the old one's go wrong. If you catch it before the years up! One of mine we missed the deadline, so will have to live with the small leak. What seems to happen is over time, if left in the sun for instance, they eventually develop a small leak along the silicone. Not at the ends - but mid section. Definitely don't leave them out in winter - empty them and store them dry in a shed or garage. But even the one I treated well last year, developed a hole, then completely split along the length last week. Full refund by Amazon - bought this one. Has a 2 year warranty can't ask better than that. Looks slightly better made too. Similar look, but the cloth outside looks a more consistent finish. The spray nozzle also looks really well made. Nice metal and place finish. Though not tried it, as have many other nozzles.

Further to my previous review, which still holds true, read below. I bought an extension to my hose, which came with an extra spray gun. I realised then that my original gun was defective because it could not be locked onto constant spray. I used the second gun successfully for a few months and then that too stopped working. I have now got two defective spray guns and can find no Lufeng customer services contact details to seek replacements. Disappointing. the hoses remain magic!Fascinating. On first stretching out the hose out I, like a previous reviewer, thought it only stretched to 100 feet and was disappointed. However as soon as the water was running through it, it stretched the full 150 feet with no difficulty and with good water pressure at its full extent. I’m in my 70s and found no difficulty in moving the hose around full of water, which another reviewer had thought a problem. It has lost one star purely because the back pressure on the tap is immense and caused a backflow. However I think this is a problem with my tap, not with the hose or its connectors, which seem far more robust then the very well-known market leader in hard yellow plastic!!It should also be borne in mind that the pressure in the hose means that you can keep watering for quite awhile after turning off the tap. Personally I think it’s great and hope it proves durable. The gun with spray choices clearly marked is excellent. Doesn’t have a “lock on” facility but much less grip needed than other spray guns I’ve used, so not a problem.

Very good product - it took a few tries to work out how the brass connectors work and in the end I bought the “additional connectors” option that shows on Amazon that meant I could connect to my large sized garden tap without issue - never knew you had to pull the rim back to insert the connectors but it works - before the additional connectors there was a lot of leakage, however this is fixed

really happy with this product, its robust and really stretches out when needed. it came with various metal fittings, i would not say they are made from brass but are probably brass coated or something. i have a plastic tap head and the metal fitting keeps falling off, you need to tighten it constantly but i plan on replacing the tap head with a metal one and see if that makes a difference. if you tighten it enough it will stay on, but unfortunately the more you move or pull it about it loosens and falls off. so not great on plastic taps so be warned. beyond that I'm very happy with the hose, first evening out i was testing the length of it, i took a chance and went across the road to water some plants and a car came, i couldn't gather it up in time and the car drove over it, and to my surprise there was no damage. the nozzle has a load of different spray settings, some are pointless and others just try and soak you rather than anything else, but there are probably 4 settings that i find useful. i hooked it up to my Karcher power washer and it operated fine, so no worries there. overall i'm quite happy with the product, i have to knock off a star for it not being really compatible with a plastic tap head, if it works ok with a metal tap head then i would happily give this a 5 star rating.Unfortunately I had to update this review and knock another 2 stars of this product, overall the hose itself is great but the brass connectors are beyond useless.. at this point they just won't stay on my tap.. I cannot use this product anymore until I purchase a metal tap head.. I will update further when I do.. but for now, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU HAVE A PLASTIC TAP HEAD..Feb 2021. Further update, I managed to sort the brass head issue by getting a brass spout for my tap, however now the hose spray nozzle attachment has failed.. water is just coming out of every side of it now, when you twist it to select a different spray setting, it just sprays out from all angles.. I took it apart to see what was the problem and couldn't see anything broken, it may be a washer or something but I don't know.. so I have to say, over time, this product becomes absoulely worthless.. everything has failed on it. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

It’s very good easy to use, heavier than my other one but much stronger.
