I ordered these to hold a cell for for a family member who lost the lanyard that came with their phone case. I could tell that this was an "economy" item from the pictures and price, but my family member isn't at all picky.I also order a couple high priced lanyards for me because I wanted a "cute" one, and ones that were very secure. I got mine yesterday and these today. So, I've now given away the two I bought yesterday which included one that is a very popular designer brand because the fabric was much too stiff- like a rough canvas- so was uncomfortable to wear. The other was a silicon cell phone lanyard that was better as an idea than a purchase.I got one of these out to test on my phone for my family member...and I'm keeping it as my main lanyard! The cotton cord is strong, yet soft. Very comfortable to wear. My phone hangs at a great length for me. I have a large phone on a shortish torso (Galaxy S9+ vs 5'2" chick) and the lowest part of the phone hangs to about my navel. Before my spending spree on lanyards I had been using a Harry Potter one from a theme park which was crazy long and my phone would hit just above my groin.The plastic pieces on these lanyards are hollow, but seem well constructed and surprisingly durable. The button to release the thethered item is stiff- which means it won't accidentally release. Because these materials are "economy" the lanyard is incredibly light weight. This is a huge bonus if the item you need to carry already has a bit of weight- like my phone does.I never expected I'd be ok carrying a thousand dollar phone on a buck fifty lanyard, but I'm ok doing just that until I find my perfect "cute" one.All this is really good because I accidentally ordered two packages 😹. Make sure to do your online purchasing *before* taking any prescription sleep medication friends!I will update this review if anything negative pops up in the next few months.

I am handicapped so it is critical for me to ALWAYS have access to my phone and the internet (through my smart phone). Not having my phone is not just inconvenient it could be lethal! This item guarantees I don't accidently forget to have access to friends, the internet, and help when I need it. I continually hear, "What a great idea!", plus it is easy to unhook and hand my phone to someone to help with a game or view photos.

Not interchangeable with the next order. I have used these Lanyard Neck Strap for several ski seasons but be ware next seasons may not work with last d=seasons . Iuessit is a manufacturing issue. Just buy new ones and throw last years away.

I LOVE THEM! They do have their downside, they will eventually get old with wear and tear and the cords snap. Or the sometimes the piece that click into the rings breaks BUT as long as long as they keep the price reasonable, I will keep purchasing these.

so i don't know that this would work for its intended use, i assume people would hang this on your neck and clip it on and off and use the ring to hold onto your phone i do use the ring to hold onto it and prevent falls but i use a paracord knot on the connection release to give me more travel which is also connected to a clip i tie to bags or a belt loop and i just use that to prevent it from falling to the ground slipping in and out of pockets during work or what have you as i use a MagSafe case with a wallet on it all the time and its a weird size to be grabbing.

I love these! I broke several due to carelessness and once I think the device itself broke. Otherwise it does what it says. Hold the metal button down to release or clip on the circle locking device. Easy peasy. My phone, hand sanitizer, and sometimes keys are always close. I haven't cracked a phone screen since purchasing these. About to purchase again!

After misplacing my vape device about 500 times i tried this lanyard and it works great. I have used it for a while and it is sturdy and strong so far.
