Lazee Daizee Viking Knit Wire Weaving Woven Chain Tool Kit

I live this tool. I sometimes still use just a plain dow rod instead of the handy gadget as 20 gauge wire and some of the bigger gauge wire is really difficult to do on this tool. But I use it all the time for 22 gauge and up as its a finer wire and and i can get a tighter weave on the lazee daizee tool ... the one thing that I kind of scoffed and that it came with was the push pin. I was like big deal ooo you are really giving us something extra here a long push pin (big whoop right!) WRONG that little push pin is invaluable. I haven't found another push pin that has a long of a point as this one does and it comes in very handy. Even when I use the dow rod I still use the pin. Its the perfect length and size to get in-between those wires and loosen things up when you need to. I don't like the draw plate at all. I prefer BeadSmith Wire Chain 2-Piece Drawplate Set - 1.5-14.5mm Holes  B005KL3ORA Its much smoother has far more holes and doesn't leave any scratches on your wire. Where as the one that comes with this one does. So not a fan.

I just started wire craft a couple of months ago and really wanted to do viking knit weave. Despite my many attempts I just could not get it!. I saw this little device online and hesitated because of the price but after a bunch more attempts to do the weave I broke down and bought the chain tool kit. I was really prepared to be disappointed, but I am absolutely delighted. I'm a viking chain making fool now :). I'm still a bit put off by the price so I'm only giving four stars. If this was a little more affordable, I'd definitely give it 5 stars.(Also, the kit has a thumb tack and nail clippers as part of the "tools", and they are calling them each something else...seemed kind of silly, but they actually do the trick).-Kim

I think the little bit of plastic and wire om this kit are just too expensive. The directions included in the kit are absolutely useless and if it was not for the video posted on You Tube, I would not have been able to figure out how to use the darn thing. I would not recommend this to anyone of my friends or family and If I could, I would return it in a heartbeat! (Already used the practice wire) THUMBS DOWN on this product!!

It's very difficult to use....I have tried this product over a period of hours and days and still unable to use it. I have viewed SEVERAL videos to no avail. I am quite good with wire wrapping etc. so I am surprised that I am unable to get this thing to do what others have obviously done...

the top is good to start the daizee but the pole is to narrow. you also need at times a pole that is larger for other projects. i use a round pole larger that is wood and that seems to be better. the wire seems to slide better on wood.l

Well made. That's the best thing I can say about it because the directions absolutely suck! The video, if you can find it on line...not much better. After a month of trying to actually create something, I have still not succeeded past the first row. Waste of money in my opinion.

Ok kinda hard to get used to highly recommend watching tutorials then going off of there directions.

This is a very good tool for learning and making Viking knit. It has everything in the kit to start right away. Easy directions and a link to a video. Who could ask for more?

Very disappointed with this instructions not very clear and wire supplied with it was next to useless, was not what I expected for the price I paid.
