A bigger hammer's what you need - that or a budgie with no teeth. The camera arrived yesterday, & I started to try to set it up, using the minimalist instruction pamphlet included. Admittedly I went down a few blind alleys, in trying to connect the thing to my system - whilst said thing was flatly refusing to comply, & just continued to bee-beep like a demented roadrunner! Having stared failure in the face, only to have failure outstare me, & make me blink - I uninstalled the app, & then reinstalled it, & started anew, taking things slow & steady, & taking the odd few seconds at each stage of the process, to make sure that I was proceeding as I was supposed to do. Again it seemed like failure, until I looked down at my phone, & saw myself staring back at me. It seems to work well, haven't checked out the night vision yet, but give it time? If this camera doesn't stop working within a few days or weeks, then it will have been a good buy, so goodbye!

I needed a camera to cover my patio area as someone has bleached all my plants 5 x in 3yrs I dont have any enemies only jealousy which is so sad i will be buying another one to cover my lounge and bedroom i am in a ground floor apartment and someone has tried to break in 4 x during the early hours as i have my bedroom window open on a security catch that you can get to from the outside

For the price, I can check in on my house anywhere any time, motion detection works faily well. video quality also is good, unfortunately sound is terrible to be honest its just crackles or breaks up. Also if you're thinking about putting this in a window to look out over you're property think about another camera because at night the IR lights from the camera reflect off the window and you just end up seeing a reflection of the camera in the window.

Got this camera so I could check on my cat whilst I'm away and this is a bargain. Set up is fairly straight forward and takes a couple of minutes and the app is really easy to use. The picture quality is great and the wide angle is more than adequate to show my whole living room. Overall this is a very decent home camera.

I've had so much trouble with this camera I've asked friends to help me still can't get it working and now it is not doing anything I cannot get it to work in the first place wondered if I could get a refund

Can't recommend this camera at all.Cheap plastic construction. Poor image quality. Limited settings.You have to use a paid for cloud service based in China to save any video at £5.99 per month.There's no option to connect to a NVR.Use must use the "yi iot" app to view live video.There's no options to set the images quality, bitrate etc.The 1080p is pretty poor quality, nowhere near HD.

Excellent, great picture links to phone. Always checking on pet's when out as dog was barking it was nice to see that he eventually settled Maybe start spying on children Why buy Hive at £120 more. There is a subscription option. I have not bothered with it. Microphone works both ways

I got this camera to keep an eye on my dog room. The picture is perfectly clear for my purposes and covers quite a lot of the room from a high vantage point. My only niggle is that the sound is delayed by a second and that makes it hard to know what exactly you are hearing. The app is easy to set up with the camera and it can be shared with other members of the family.
