The part was a fit, but not exactly the same as far as being flush.

I must confess that I damaged my Troy-Bilt PW because I did not winterize it due to a major illness and my head was elsewhere. Local shops refused to repair the freeze-broken head claiming the cost of the part and labor would be too much. What I can tell you is that replacing the head on a pump ended up being a trivial repair. Basically, 3 or 4 bolts/screws. However, because they are torqued tightly and are mostly brass or soft metal I do encourage that you also buy a 6mm hex socket (about $3 at my local big box store). I did try a regular hex wrench at first but found it too difficult to break the factory seal. With the 6mm hex socket it took just seconds to remove the bolts. And if you need to remove one of the other brass screws for the throttle control -- a 14mm socket. Having the right tools made the job very easy -- but without them I felt I could easily damage all the soft metals. The part worked flawlessly without any leaks!

Just remember to keep the brass washers from your old one. This new one was missing the three brass washers that are needed to get a seal.

This worked perfectly for my Troy Bilt model 875 3100 psi.Just remember to use the brass washers from your old pump head before installing.
