A Winner
K&F do make some decent gear for the money I've found and this UV lens filter is no different. Honestly this is supremely well made with a high quality finish and a perception of a properly expensive bit of kit. Now, I do appreciate that the jury is out on whether a UV filter is or is not needed and on that subject I have no real feelings. What I do like though is that using a UV filter prevents damage - within reason - to my actual lens. Okay, I get the fact that if I drop my camera off the back of a truck it's not going to survive, but having that lens filter does stop minor scratches and abrasive dust. It also keeps my fingers away from the lens and being flat easy to clean thoroughly with a cloth.Overall a no brainer for me. I always put a UV filter on my lenses immediately upon purchase simply to add a bit of protection and K&F do some great ones for entirely reasonable money.

Good value
Used to protect the front element of an expensive macro lens. The filter does the job at a sensible price with no loss of image quality.

Good value UV filter
I know a lot of people don’t use UV filters, but I like to have them for protection. I’m often at the beach and it keeps the front of the lens protected from sea spray and sand. This UV filter is one of the best I’ve used. It doesn’t affect picture quality at all, and the ridged parts make it easy to grip the filter to remove or attach it. It feels good quality and is barely noticeable on the front of the lens. It comes in a padded plastic box so it’s useful if you need to store it for future use.I was pleasantly surprised to see that the filter came with three individually sealed microfibre cloths which are always handy. They’re good quality and do a great job of cleaning the lens without leaving smears. The only downside for me is there’s no thread on the outer part of the filter, so you can’t attach another filter on top. This isn’t a major issue, I’ll just need to remove the filter before attaching another one.

great quality
As a photographer of over 40 years experience ive bought many hundreds of uv filters over the years and usually only consider B+W and HOYA FUSION ones now days but my daughter needed a filter for a kit lens of hers so I took the risk of a cheaper alternative . This brand arrived nicely packed , clean and ready to install without any messing about with a lens cloth , the quality is amazing and I wouldn't hesitate in buying one again even at three times the price ! fantastic filters for all those lenses you want protecting but don't want to spend the earth . My honest opinion is yes the frame is flimsier and lighter than HOYA and B+W but its perfectly fine and the glass and coatings are every bit as good as the top brands and hence these filters are a utterly super buy at any level .

Snug fit on my lens
Very tight fit on my canon lens, very easy to screw on and was the correct thread size. Easy to screw on and screw off and helped reduced any glare and protected my lens sensor from the uc rays

I’ve filter lense
As all products made in japan this Uv lens is fantastic. Very good quality for a reasonable price. The only criticism I could find was fitting it to which I found slightly tricky.. but in all fairness I do have big hands… yet to try attaching a lens hood to it so will update when I have
