These go with Yoga Pet Bowl - Ordered to have an extra set.
Brachycephalic dog owners - probably not good for your pooches (pugs, shiatzu, etc.) but perfect for my 16 and 26 pound terrier crosses. Medium size is perfect. No, they are not really raised feeders but they are off the ground and I love having removable dishes. The stands and dishes (ordered feeder and dishes as a set per one reviewer’s advice - thank you) are attractive, don't slide and the stoneware bowls are very heavy and nice. I even ordered a second set of bowls so I am not constantly washing them. The plastic base can also hold food or water, but I prefer a feeder from which I can take out and wash the food dish. I use these for food only and the medium size is perfect for the quantity off food my dogs get. Picture of pooches waiting to be fed is for size reference (and cuteness). You can see they do bend when eating.Ordered an extra set for ease of use when bowls are dirty!

An Interesting Bowl
This is an interesting bowl. I have two large dogs who eat from a raised bowl feeder. One of said dogs is allergic to stainless steel (go figure) so I needed ceramic bowls. Finding ceramic bowls with a lip that will allow them to rest easily and safely on the feeder is easier said than done. This bowl does the trick. The slightly 'off-kilter' design would allow water to spill from one side but mounting it in the feeder eliminates that concern. I do wish it had a larger capacity but, overall, it is a good investment. It washes like a charm in the dishwasher and keeps the water cool so the dogs are more inclined to drink the water on warm days. I would recommend this to friends

Packaging is excellent. Bowls are GORGEOUS
Seller is reliable and shipped order fast. Packaging is excellent. Bowls are GORGEOUS, well-made and classy. They fit perfectly on an old wrought iron bowl holder/stand. Bought the bowl holders in beige as an alternative. My toy poodle doesn't gag while drinking or eating while bowls are resting on the taller wrought-iron bowl holder/stand, though. Though low, love the way the bowls tip while on the designated bowl holders, making it easier for my poodle to eat her food and drink her water comfortably. I wouldn't recommend using a silver spoon to mix food, that is if your dog eats a combination of wet and dry food. The spoon scratches the surface. A plastic or silicone spoon would be the best tool to use.

SO DISAPPOINTED! Bought three of these bowls and every one of them arrived completely SHATTERED! Very poor packaging! I had such high hopes for these lovely bowls after searching for some time for an attractive and functional dog dish.

SIZE UP: Pretty but does not hold stated volume
This is a beautiful bowl. I was hopeful that the reviews saying it was too small were inaccurate. I ordered the LARGE after all. While it is large in overall dimensions, it does not even come close to holding the stated 70 oz. I measured just to be sure: it holds 40 oz (5 cups) of water leaving a 1/4" distance from the lowest inner front rim (before it starts to curve outwards), maybe 48 oz maximum if you fill right to the same edge and are not trying to carry a full bowl of water. No one would fill it beyond this point, all the way to the outer-most edge/lip. Perhaps if you mounded a heaping pile of dry goods you could get 70 oz. But not liquid. It is very pretty, sleek, smooth and well made. Just keep in mind you have to SIZE UP for actual volume capacity. Had there been an XL or even XXL that held 100 oz (which would be more like 70 oz) I would have exchanged for that one.(I did not order the suggested stand, I used with a pot stand I already have for dog water.)

Awesome, but not the best for short muzzled dogs.
Not for short muzzled dogs. These bowls are deep with a slightly raised bump on the bottom but my Shihzu isn't nuts about it, he's doing fine, but it gets his face messy and food is harder to get. I suppose you could use it to control dogs who gulp food down? My beagle loves the bowl. They are expensive but substantial and sturdy. Harry has already knocked his all over the kitchen and it doesn't have a scratch on it. I have the green and brown bases and I adore them.

The other one is good and is easy to clean
I bought two of them. One had a small crack at the rim and the finish is rough. The other one is good and is easy to clean. They help the older dogs drink or eat by not having to bend down too much..... Inspect each one for flaws before using. Two stars for the damaged bowl.Four stars for the undamaged bowl.

Beautiful but fragile
This is a beautiful bowl and I really like it, but unfortunately it's delicate and prone to breaking in shipping. Mine came with a chip at the rim that I initially thought would be a simple fix, but it was not until later that I noticed the break ran down the side of the bowl almost to the bottom which makes the bowl leak a tiny bit. However, it is very pretty so I may order a replacement and hope it arrives in one piece. If yours does not, just return it immediately and order a new one.The vendor should look into better packaging, this bowl probably should be shipped encased in styrofoam or something similar.
