Great little camera, does as good as you might expect. The screen on the back isn't very sharp and has poor viewing angles. There is also some shutter delay after you press the button, but its still more than usable for everyday use.It says that you can print photos from the sd card that weren't taken on the camera itself, but so far I haven't managed to get that to work. There might be a firmware update that I just haven't done which might be restricting that option. Menus are easy to use and prints are good but lack the vibrant colours, probably due to the paper as obviously its limited to what pigment the paper was made with.You can use other branded paper as long as you use the kodak branded colour calibration sheet instead of the one that comes with the other brands.

I purchased this Kodak smile camera for my Daughters 7th Birthday gift. She loved it so much.Very easy to function and most of all she loved the instant prints and the accessories in the bundle set.The size of the photos are great. She’s created a magnet for the fridge with her first photo.

The product was brought for an 8 year old, so we weren’t looking for anything spectacular. However, the overall poor quality is disappointing. The camera is plastically to the touch & external colour is in fact flat; not like the glossy pictures of the product you will see. The lense & screen look like something from 20 years ago & it has a clunky cheap toy like feel. The photo quality is dire (wasn’t expecting them to be great, but most look like a drawn by a child in a darkened room). Even then half the photos don’t print properly anyway - and the paper is very expensive too. No way is this product worth purchase price. You instantly get the feeling you’ve been ripped off & the product will be in the bin in a couple of months at best. AVOID

Picture not great but children have no reference point so they love it. Also you can save to memory card and choose what you print out so no wasted zink paper. Great little instant camera!

Love it as quite handy and ready to store sweet memories.. the only thing is the picture quality isn’t great but not bad either..

I bought this use at our wedding so guests could take pictures and stick them in our guest book.Battery life is decent. Very easy to use and love that it doesn’t need any ink.Love that the prints come with sticky back photo paper so you can stick straight in.Memory can hold 5 photos, you need an SD card if you want to store more.I’ve never used an instant camera before so I don’t have a point of comparison but I was really disappointed by the bad quality of the prints. Colours aren’t natural and a bit too high in contrast so it’s quite difficult to make out the images.The screen is also tiny so difficult to see the photo although for the price this would be more than ok if the quality of the prints was better.Would do the job for a fun kids present if you can afford the paper refills but I do wish I had spent more on a camera which prints better quality images for our wedding.

"..But I like pink", I hear you say.. The problem is Kodak have printed the button functions white on pink and they are almost impossible to see in ANY light condition, never mind on a night out or party for which this type of 'fun' camera was designed.our first use of it was at a fiends wedding last week and the novelty factor of being able to present printed photos of their big day as it happened was well appreciated. This is a toy , and it is fun to use for its novelty value especially when in the company of (younger) people who have thousands of pictures on their smart phone but not one single print of any of them.The screen is small and not very bright and the function buttons that appear when the phone is opened are easily pressed in error when passing the camera around to take snaps, which changes the function(s) . It has virtually ZERO memory..3 photos, so a micro SD card is a must. Some might think at 50 pence per print it is an expensive toy and you might be right, but it's fun to have a printed (adhesive) snap of your night out .....before the night is out.How did I overcome the invisible white on pink buttons ?..I drew on them with a thin indelible marker pen. Job Done. I can see us as a family taking this flawed thing with us on most occasions just for the fun factor.
