Coppertone Clearly Sheer SPF 30 Sunscreen Spray 5 Ounce

I am very fair skinned and burn within 15 minutes so I was hoping to spray this on my neck and chest when I'm outside with my little one, but still wearing regular clothes. I used this for a few days and still got a little burned but the biggest issue I had was it dried my skin out like crazy. After using this every morning for about 5 days I felt like my neck was 30 years older. It was awful. I will not use this again.

It sprays on too thin. You can't spread it around. You end up getting burned anyway.

I give it a 3 because I have not yet been able to use it in the sun.

I LOVE this new formula. It seems like it's meant to be a dupe for Neutrogena Sheers, but this product outperforms it. First, it sprays on in such a gentle, fine mist that you almost don't know if its spraying (in a good way). It does not feel wet or slick when it hits your skin like most spray sunscreens. There is a light, citrusy scent that is only noticeable if you actually sniff your skin, but it doesn't interfere with perfume or smell strong enough to detract from its quality. Almost instantly about 90percent of the product sinks into the skin. it leaves a barely there, ever so slight glean to the skin. However, its about a third of the slick shininess that I would get from other spray sunscreens. If you need your sunscreen to moisturize and shine up your legs, this is not it. This is truly a sheer formulation that is as close to matte as you can find on the market today. As far as performance, it has worked well. it is SPF 30 but remember that if you use too little of any product, the SPF 'thins out' and becomes a lower amount. Its important to spray liberally. I try to apply 2x a day but have not noticed any sunburn or tan on the days where i was running around, too busy to reapply. As far as price, I did find a much more reasonable price at a bullseye chain store - lower than ANY website. I would love for this product to hit Prime or even Add-On status at its Suggested Retail Price.. I'd buy it in bulk!
