SperryMen's, Authentic Original Cross Lace Boat Shoe

Beautiful boat shoes, well made but comfortable, but the Gold Cup boat shoes tend to run small in my experience, I ordered my typical size and it felt quite small, would need to go up at least 1/2 size.

I have four pairs of Sperry boat shoes in various colors so obviously I'm a big fan of this classic style shoes. It's comfortable, looks good and fits my lifestyle since I live near the beach and the weather is always warm. If any of my Sperry's wear out, I'll replace it another one.

Usually I would NEVER buy shoes this expensive, but I am sooo glad I did. These shoes are extremely well made and are going to last a long time (Unlike my other crappy shoes like toms, flats, etc). They add a hint of masculinity to my wardrobe (not too much). I recommend wearing them with skinny jeans and a sweater. So CUTE! They are really comfy to wear if you'll be walking around for a long time. Although, I recommend breaking them in first before going on long excursions. I didn't, and it resulted in a couple painful blisters, due to my stupidity. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8, but I got a 7 and they fit PERFECTLY. And most importantly: they were approved by the boyfriend. YAY!

These shoes are fantastic. They slip right on. They are cute (I have dark brown ones). They are comfortable to stand in. They don't begin to stink. They are water proof. They are really sturdy (you can't slip and slide, even on wet ground). When I first got these shoes, I didn't wear any other shoe for 3 weeks straight.To find out my size, I just went to the mall and tried a sperrys. 10 is PERFECT for me. I couldn't believe how perfect the fit was. So I bought 10M on here and it was just perfect. I think AT FIRST I was like "This is kind of tight" but that's only because the strings come in tight. You can loosen them yourself.

Love these shoes! So comfortable, true to size, very durable and great quality. Definitely a great value!

I purchased these Sperry Bluefish 2 Eyes several months ago to wear to my job as a restaurant manager. I'm on my feet for 8-10 hours a day, six days a week and these shoes are comfortable and high-quality enough to withstand the stress I put on them. I can't say enough good things about them - they're flattering to your feet and go with almost anything. They slip right on your feet, too, which makes wearing them even easier than sneakers. Although I initially intended to wear these only for work, I find myself choosing them for weekend activities, as well. I own a couple of different pairs of Sperrys, and these are hand down my favorite. Do yourself a favor and buy these right now - you won't be sorry you did!

This is my second pair of Top Sider Sperry shoes. I love them because they are sooo comfortable specially once they’re broken in. I like this style because I can dress them down with a casual outfit and also dress them up for more professional settings all while not having to give up the comfortable fit. I usually wear dressy Clark’s for more professional settings. However if you’re doing major walking the way my work requires me to these are perfect.

Sperry quality is gone! I have bought a pair of these each year for about decades. The last few years the quality has gone downhill quickly. The insole leather stops halfway down the sole. This leather rolls up soon after wearing a few times and it feels like I have wadded up leather in my shoes. This year I am now returning my newest ones because after wearing them twice the leather in the heels on both sides has split open exposing the padding underneath. The leather is soft but cutbacks have made it so paper thin that there may as well not be a sole in these any more. Sperry boat shoes have lost a lifelong customer. I will not be buying them again. It's too bad. Even if these shoes were $20 I wouldn't buy them again. These have a reputation that is no longer there.
