Coolerguys Single 120mm Fan kit with pre-Set Thermal Controller CG-1201-P

Power connection is a little iffy. Sometimes the connection is lost if in the wrong position. But once it is going, it works well. I have it mounted in a cabinet and it pulls air through fine and I am running it continuously. I had an older version of the same fan and was able to plug both fans into the new controller.

Easy to put together, plugged in and works good, either fan is always on or switch to the thermo sensor to turn fan on when temperature isabout 85 degree F.Fan is quiet and does not pull a lot of air, on purpose. You can plug in other stronger fans if you want. I think it is better always have a bitof air circulating than a strong fan comes on and off all the time.

I bought a jab saw at Home Depot and was able to get this installed in one night. The front of my entertainment stand is open, but my ps4 was still over heating. By adding this extra air flow I entirely solved the issue.

Whoever packages this product does not know what they are doing. The first kit had correct mounting hardware and fan, but incorrect thermal controller (5 volt USB) and power supply. The reorder also had wrong power supply. Two tries and no working kit. While the power supply connector is correct pin type, fan and controller need 12 volts not 5. Coolerguys looks to make quality components, but whoever packs this kit does not choose the correct components for a working fan.

Timely; all parts were included; everything connected and it works as advertised. Easy to follow video. When I need another cooling solution, I will buy from CoolGuys again.

I wasn't too happy about having to put this kit together but nothing I couldnt handle. Now what can I do if the fan wont spin?
