SPEND YOUR MONEY ON A BETTER CARD
Was dead on arrival. Never worked once in any computer with any fix. I tried in my current computer (a little old, but it's still compatible) and had no display. I tried in it in my cousins AND dads computer (very new, both with i7 motherboards) and still had no display. I reinstalled my drivers, removed all possible interfering programs, and even reinstalled my entire operating system. I even reinstalled the drivers on my family's computers and it still didn't work. Tried different video cords, tried DVI instead of HDMI, got a bigger power supply in case it had too little power, made sure it wasn't my computer that wasn't working instead of the graphics card and still no results. The fans turn on fine and there's no physical damage that I can see. The computers boot up but the screen is completely black in all cases.Apparently from other reviews and research I'm no where close to the first person that this happened to. I'm very disappointed in Zotac for making such an expensive card with so many issues, I expected with the high price that it would be pretty good quality but this isn't the case. NEVER buying Zotac again.

A very good high midrange card. Well cooled. Very Big Card.
This is a very big card. It is two slots thick and the longest card I've ever had or even seen. I am fortunate to have a large case and even then, it fit exactly in place with less than 2 millimeters of space left. It may not be the top card made but it runs everything I've thrown at it flawlessly so far.It is a good high midrange card that can handle current games @120fps. This card is worth the price if you game. While it won't run everything maxed forever it is certainly worth it if you cannot afford the $800 to $2000 to buy the toppest of the top end card.

Best VR video card for the money
Bought for 266.73 in May 2016 and this has been a workhorse for 2.5 years. It handles all my VR titles easily. I decided to go with this card after looking at the 980s and soon to be 1080s coming out. For the money, hands down, has been the best video card. I noticed that gigabyte is having loads of fan issues, so stay away from them. Zotac is focused on video cards, well worth it. I bought this when I got my Vive and have been very happy with both.

Solid choice for a quiet GTX 970 with stock OC
Solid choice for a quiet GTX 970 with stock OC. Easily plays MGS:V TPP at 60fps with max settings on 1080p and 1200p. With a boosted core clock of 1350Mhz, the triple stock fans only rotate at 40% fan speed to maintain 67-69 C under heavy gaming so this leaves plenty of room to tweak to your preferred performance vs temps vs noise preferences. Comes with a 2 year warranty extendable to 3 years if you register the card through Zotac within 30 days of purchase.

Amazing graphics card
Amazing graphics card. I am maxing out almost every game I play at 1080p, 60fps. Unfortunately, I am not an overclocker so I cannot give you any specific details on that; besides, the card already comes with a decent overclock out-the-box and I'm fine with that. When I bought Zotac's GTX 970, the price was 329.99 and, along with AMD's R9 390. What it came down to was efficiency or power, considering that the R9 390 was the better card but is very power consuming. So considering that I was just doing 1080p gaming and not 1440p, I decided to go with Nvidia and save some money on my electric bill. Overall, the card is great and I would recommend it to those who are looking to game at 1080p.

Pretty solid card.
Temps:So far the card is holding up great. Initially it was super quiet, until I realized that the fan curve wasn't aggressive enough for the climate I live in (it's hot). Out of the box I was hitting 72 degres on relatively full load, so I upped the fan curve and now I never go past 65 degrees on full load. At this new fan curve the fans are set to go to 80 percent for anything above 60 degrees, and it's audible, not annoyingly so, but I can hear a faint whirl through my Define R5. So all in all it's pretty decent.Aesthetics:The card is sleek and gorgeous, I was actually drawn to it because of the gun-metal shroud. The Zotac logo doesn't light up, but it is however reflective and still looks classy. The backplate sets a nice contrast on the card and really completes the look.1080p Performance:I can pretty much max out every game I play. The gtx 970 was truly meant to beast at 1080p. I'll be upgrading to 1440p soon and will update the review once the monitor arrives, but for now, BF4 and BF3 on ultra both run between 120 - 160 fps on average depending on the map, Minecraft with optifine runs at around 800 - 1000fps, and drops to around 70 - 100fps with SEUS installed, and Dirt rally runs above 70 fps but I haven't done much testing. Overall I'm happy with the performance.Pricing:At the time of writing this review, this card is worth 417 dollars from amazon itself, which is a bit strange, considering I got the card for 339US, and it's actually still that price on Newegg, so I don't know what's Amazon's deal charging so high. But for 339, or even 350 it's wortit, but not over 400 dollars. At 400 bucks you might as well save some more and get a 980 or 980ti.Overall, good card, I haven't done any over clocking as yet, but if I do, I'll post the results.

Awesome card!
Having recently sold both a Zotac 980GTX ti and a Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970, I had given up PC gaming as I couldn't sit on my desk due to medical problems, so I took up console gaming... After a few months I could use my PC again, just in time for XCOM 2 and The Division. I got one of these babies, with the free copy of The Division, which I think is an absolute amazing game and runs amazing on this card... in fact every game I've thrown at it runs amazing, it is simply a great card.I can't compare it to my ex 980ti, apart from the fact it runs quieter and cooler, but it's faster then the Gigabyte card I had, and also runs quieter and cooler. The 5 years guarantee is great, because I plan to SLI this card when it drops in price. If you get this card, I advise you to use GeForce Experience to optimize your games for you. It does it better then the games inbuilt detector! Also, if like me, you have an Nvidia Shield TV setup, and a 4K TV, this will stream the games with the same graphics details but in 4K, regardless of your monitor, I think it up scales them.Great card, Great game which is actually worth £30.Highly recommended.

Great build quality and Zotac's excellent 5 year warranty and overclock ability.
I recently purchased this after using a Zotac GTX 680 since 2012. The 680 was a massive overclocker and near silent. I guessed this 970 wouldn't overclock as high but it has given an extra 100mhz so far. Build quality is great. Heavy metal backplate, no silly cartoon graphics on the casing. The GPU runs cool. 59c in winter and is barely audible. I needed to buy the 970 for use with my Oculus DK2 and because I've pre-ordered Oculus CV1. The Nvidia 900 series is able to do VR frame-warping in a single cycle compared to non-VR GPU. That gives a significant performance edge in VR. A big draw for me is the 5 year extended warranty I get with Zotac. They do seem to do well on overclocking as well. I tend to avoid MSI because from experience they vary wildly in overclock ability.I might purchase a second one at some point for VR SLI.

Great Graphics card at a good price.
This is a great Graphics Card, eats every game or film I throw at it and the software is great too. It allows you to record your games or your screen with ease. The card itself also looks great in the box, a fine piece of tech at a good price.
