Contigo AUTOSPOUT Straw Striker Kids Water Bottle, 14 oz, Sapphire

Let me start out by saying that I love these cups! I have a set of twins and they have proven to be the best against leaking. The kids were 17 months old when I introduced these cups to them which is younger than the suggested age for use. They quickly learned how to press the button to pop up the straw and drinking from said straw was never a problem for either of them. They are leak proof unless your sweet little child turns it upside down and bangs it on the table/floor. This causes the liquid to be shaken out. Also, if the cup is dropped or thrown, the straw will, on occasion, detach from the inside of the lid which causes the liquid to freely flow. Please keep in mind that older children more than likely won't bang around or throw these cups, so those couple of leaking issues probably won't ever be a problem. Also, I just wash them in the top rack of the dishwasher and they come out squeaky clean. If I could purchase these exact cups but insulated, I totally would..... but I haven't found any as of yet. These cups are a great buy!

These are the only cups both of my kids use. Each of them has three and I rotate them daily, and leave them totally open on a drying mat at night so that they dry out completely.We've been using these for about a year and have not had a single issue with mold. My kids drink milk and juice from them daily. a few of them (two out of the 12 or so I've purchased) seem like the straw doesn't want to stay in, but if you push the more rounded end of the straw in the gasket it stays put.They're really just the best. They get slammed around, run through the dishwasher constantly, and still look and function perfectly. You don't have to bite the mouthpiece like someone else said; it works just like a regular straw. Absolutely no leaks ever.

After trying lots of other kids water bottles, we are stocking up on the Contigo Autospout. This bottle has really held up and is preferred by both my 2 and 4 year old, and they've used it for over a year now. Compared to Camelbak eddy, this spout is superior. It doesn't retract into the bottle like the Camelbak, which causes lots of leakage. It's comfortable, easy to operate by a one year old, and can really stand up to being thrown around. We've used these constantly, and the only wear and tear is that the decoration wears off after cleaning in the dishwasher and heavy use. The inner valve also comes apart to ensure it's thoroughly cleaned, but the pieces are connected and stay together. Hope these aren't discontinued any time soon.

I've bought three of these bottles in the last couple of years, mostly because I've heard such high praise for their quality. The bottle is spill proof--a huge selling point in kindergarten! The spout has severs layers of seals that come apart for washing. The bottles and lids are dishwasher safe, and the straws are wide and sturdy. The bottle even works without a straw if you forget to put it in.However, each time I have purchased one, the rubber ring inside the lid has come off within about 6 months. Once it comes off, the bottle is done. It takes literally hours to wrestle the ring back in place, and it slips off again when it's used. Without the ring, the bottle leaks and water runs out from where the lid attaches.

Love love love these bottles. We’ve never had any issues with leakage other than during summer time - if we leave them in the car for any period of time the water wells up in the straw and will spout out when you push the button. Definitely not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of. I *try* to remember to either take them in with us or leave the straw popped so the pressure can vent to avoid this. (We live in the Deep South, just FYI.)They are easy to clean - we just disassemble as much as possible and stick in the dishwasher. I always check for mold and have never seen any. The only reason we’ve had to replace is because my kids bit threw the spout, lol. We had one for four years with no issues before it finally gave in to the pressure of being chewed on and split.13/10 would recommend. Great for little ones transitioning from bottles especially - leakproof, helps them learn to suck through a straw, and last forever even through being thrown from high chairs and dropped constantly. My son is now 5 and we still buy these for him because he loves them. My husband and I use the “adult” versions too to make sure we get in our daily water intake. I cannot day enough good things about Contigo and their auto spout products.Just FYI - we have Diono Radian car seats and the STRIKER version bottles are the only ones slim enough to fit in the cup holders on those seats without issue. The fatter bottles DO fit but are hard to remove for younger kids (younger than 3 or 4). Takes a little elbow grease to get them out because they fit VERY snuggly.

Que me gusto?Después de 30 días de uso continuo, sigue sin derramar ninguna gota de agua aunque el popote esté abierto. Ya no tengo derrames en la mesa, cama o carro. Ha resisto bastantes golpes, es relativamente fácil de limpiar, le gustó a mis hijos (un niño de 2 años y medio lo aprendió a manejar sin problemas en un día). Bastante úlli y funcional, motiva a mis hijos a tomar mas aguaQue no me gustóSe me siguen haciendo caro de precio

La calidad es bueno como en todos los productos de la marca "Contigo", sin embargo mi hijo tiene 3 años y aún le cuesta trabajo succionar del popote ya que se necesita más fuerza de succión que un bote de agua normal, pero lo solucione quitándole el popote y guardandolo, haciendo esto el bote se convirtió en un bote de agua donde con solo levantarlo y poca succión sale el agua sin problema conservando su función de sellado para evitar fugas, en cuanto a la resistencia es buena, mi hijo ya a roto 5 botes de otras marcas por caídas accidentales y este a resistido muy bien esas caídas

Perfect product for my 2 year old. Spill proof, easy to use and easy to clean / put in the dishwasher.I own a larger version of this bottle and he wanted to use it all the time, so I bought him his own smaller version and he loves it!
