It's Beeswax!
This is my first time using beeswax so I'm no expert, but it seems to be good quality wax. For the most part it's just like any other wax. Compared to other available brands you do get a nice amount for your money. It is hard to cut which is normal for wax so you kinda have to shave pieces off instead of being able to cut a bigger chunk, but once again that seems normal for wax. Most people always say how good beeswax smells, but I personally don't really notice that. I don't get any kind of a real scent from it when solid and when melted it does have kinda a strange smell that I wasn't expecting. It's not necessarily a bad scent though and not necessarily a good scent, just different than I expected. Overall it seems like good stuff and I would buy it again and would recommend it!!

Good beeswax. Price is awesome!
Yellow beeswax. I use this as part of a homemade waterproofing product for boots, shoes and canvas/cotton outdoor clothing, tarps, bags, etc. It does a great job. It's also nearly 2/3 the price of the same amount of beeswax found at Michael's or Hobby Lobby ($10 instead of $14.50 per pound). Great deal!Waterproofer: 1 lb melted beeswax (double boiler), 8 oz boiled linseed oil, 8 oz turpentine. Mix well, and paint onto tarp/clothing (apply with cloth to boots). Melt into clothing - best way is to securely tie item into a cotton pillowcase and throw into a commercial dryer on high for 30-45 minutes. Remove, hang and allow to air dry for 24 hours. Turpentine smell will dissipate. For leather shoes, melt into leather with a hairdryer on high heat.UPDATE: This wax did not mix as well with the turpentine and linseed oil as others I've tried. Therefore, it did not create a wax paste as it's supposed to. It more "waxy" and brittle as it dried. Did not affect the waterproofing, but made more of a mess as brittle pieces of cooled wax broke off of the garment surface before I got it into the dryer for the final melt-in. I may need to spend the extra money for the white beeswax.

Great Wax for my beehives!!!
I'm a first-time beekeeper and had the product recommended to me by a long-time beekeeping instructor. I used it to coat my hive frames, I had really fast delivery and had no issues applying it to my frames and will definitely be buying some more probably this week. It melted really easily, and my bees seemed to like it.

Bees
Used the wax to cover bee hive frames to encourage comb building. Worked good for covering frames and bees seem to be building well with it
