This is high quality sand and well worth the purchase. We've tried many different brands and this by far is the best. No throw out into the pool to clean up. Our pool was a bit murky but within chemical treatment and 6 hours running it was chrystal clear. Highly recommend. It is a 50 lbs back so if you have a smaller sand pump you will only need half or less as our pump only requires 23.1 lbs

Works as expected - seems to be capturing all the little bits that collect in the pool as I had to backwash much sooner than I would have with my old playground sand that I was using in my filter, so less gunk going back in the pool.
