Nomad G3 pro
Brunton Nomad G3 Pro, Started out hard to program for Altitude, Called Brunton (800)443-4871 The Rep had never worked with this instument but went and got one out of stock and called me back after he had kind of figured it out. After I talked to him I was able to figure it out better. It has a fairly good manual but it needs to tell you to use corrected barometric pressure, set to default on in baro. Next get the altatude and Barometric pressure for your area I went to NOAA.gov, then I went to csgnetwork.com and got the corrected pressure, then my altimeter works great.

Difficult to set the altimeter, as the instructions are unclear.

scratches easily
Be aware that the face scratches easily. I had it in my pocket and the face became cloudy from the rubbing of a few things in there with my compass. I'm still an analog compass guy when it comes to taking bearings.
