I am very happy with this purchase!! The cyan display was a must for me. I wanted very large numbers since it is 4-5 feet from me. Very easy to set. Hours & mins set separately with backwards & forwards. Love that it auto sets for DST (daylight savings time). it doesn't autoset the time. It does have a battery back up for power outrages, but I haven't put batteries in it yet. 2 AAA. I like that it has the day of the week. Make sure when setting the date you click again & enter the year or your day will be off. My favorite FM station KLOVE came in loud & clear when I draped the antennae over something higher. Use the time set +- to change the station. I feel this was a great price, & I'm very happy with it. I'm replacing an ancient one that if I had to back the time up an hour I either had to hit the reverse button 60 times or FF 23 hrs since you couldn't set hours & minutes separately. Mine still worked great but I didn't like the small red numbers & how annoying it was to set.

They just don't make clock radios like they used to make them. Being extremely nearsighted, the biggest advantages for me are the super large numbers and the pleasant blue color. The radio sound quality is not great but it is better than what you get with most clock radios today. The description says you can set the alarm to beep or to radio, but I haven't been able to figure out how to set it to radio. Otherwise, I could set up and use the device without instructions. Beware of the Daylight Savings Time button. It is located next to the Snooze button so it is very easy to press by accident, meaning the alarm could go off an hour earlier or later than you intend. While the USB charging port is a good idea in theory, when I answer my phone when it is plugged in, the device often flies off the table because it weighs so little. I have only been using it a few weeks and it already has several scratches. I would have preferred a black case because it would look nicer and would hide the scratches better. No great shakes but better than the average clock radio available today.

Overall this is a good radio alarm clock with a large LED display. It's easy to set up and use. The main problem I am having is with the LED brightness. There is very bright, bright and low. The bright setting is good all around except when you are trying to sleep as it's as bright if not brighter than a night lite. It lights up the whole room and when you use the low setting it's perfect for when the lights are off in the room but you really can't see the display in normal daylight. There needs to be a sensor to set the light according to the available light. Now I have to decide if I want to keep the unit and adjust it daily to meet the need to see the display. It's not hard just tedious. The only other thing is that it has only one alarm setting if it had two and a sensor for the display this would be the best radio alarm clock on the market.

I saw '7" Alarm Clock" & thought it'd be about the size of my phone because screen-based electronics are always measured on a diagonal (corner-to-corner). It's actually 7.5" diagonally & 7" long (pics included). I got the black clock but the power cord & plug are white for some weird & stupid reason.It has 5 brightness levels & the fact that it can be dimmed to barely visible is the only reason I'm keeping it. I thought the blue light would be relaxing but after seeing it in person I realize that the blue is similar to the kind of LED light emitted by computer screens that is supposed be disruptive to sleep.My old alarm clock was putting off a lot of heat & I wondered how much electricity it was eating up as a result. This clock stays nice & cool. I don't use the alarm, so I can't comment on that. I just like to have a clock visible at a glance because I have anxiety issues about the time.If you really need absolute minimal light to sleep well, keep shopping. Look for a smaller clock lighted with green numbers with a dimmer option.If you're a near-sighted heavy sleeper this is the clock for you :-)

Our alarm clock radio of 15+ years finally died and we needed a new one. This one had everything we were looking for at a great price. Well, almost everything. For some reason the station we want to use won't set for the alarm. It comes in fine just for listening, but I guess there's not enough strength for the alarm. So, it goes to a different station. Our second choice will do. We tried positioning the antenna cord in different spots. Not good enough. I like that there is a place for back up batteries in case of power outages. No AM station with this one, but we only needed FM anyway. The different brightness for the numbers is great too. We found a setting that wasn't too bright at night. Easy on and off for the alarm. It was simple to set up. It seems well made and hopefully will last for a long time.

When I needed to get a new clock radio, I was not sure I would find one with features I was used to having. This clock met my needs very well. The display is very bright, but at its dimmest level it is not a problem at night and still readable during the day. My radio station comes in clearer on this one than my old one. I really like the DST feature. It worked perfectly last night and gave me one less time piece to change. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

7-1-2021 UPDATE: I've had this since January 2020, so 1 1/2 years and the digital display is failing. It also started to just turn the display off completely. As stated in my original review, the volume at it's lowest is too low and the next step up is a tad too loud for sleeping. This clock is great and I get in a station I can't get in on my Bose Soundwave IV. It fell just shy of five star because of the volume. I want to fall asleep with the radio on but #1 is too low and I can barely hear it if I am facing the wrong way and #2 is too loud to fall asleep to. Other than that, I like all other features and the large display.

Diese Weckuhr steht im Schlafzimmer und durch die große Anzeige (die man natürlich auch dimmen kann), ist es nachts nie ganz dunkel und man findet immer wieder ins Bett zurück.

Très contente de mon achat, à un très bon prix, j’ai alloué 4 étoile, car l’intensité la plus haute est forte, mais c’est bien que l’on puisse la Baisser, il y’a 3 intensité est c’est parfait, j’aurai souhaité qu’il puisse avoir des instructions en Français pour faciliter la programmation et le fonctionnement du produit, j’ai du me débrouiller et essayer de le comprendre par moi même, je suis de Québec alors mon anglais n’est pas tellement appoint mais par compte ce que j’adore, c’est qu’il y’a l’heure 24 heure, j’ai choisis ce modèle, pour cette raison, car je fonctionne de cette façon, et que dire une prise USB, pour recharger mon IPhone super Pratique, est la couleur de l’heure, Cyan, c’est fantastique, j’aimais le Bleu également, mais le Cyan fais changement, et va tout à fait avec le décor de ma chambre. Je recommande ce produit.
